She was told that in Xinjiang all children also enjoy free education from kingdergarten to high school which strongly impressed her, she recalled her childhood in Vietnam, no free milk, no free education, her family is very poor and only managed to support her to finish 5th grade, and she also went hungry too. in Xinjiang the government really take very good care of every kid, every child is being well protected and treated as a valuable asset for the country's future.

Maybe you MISSED that Mongolia is shaded in a different color because it is SO COLD,

Folks please understand that in general the closer you move to the equator the warmer it is and conversely the further you move away from it the colder it is.

You would expect populations of pre-modern societies to be doing better in areas of their landmasses where the temperature and soil quality is the best. Usually this is nearer to the equator but as mentioned this is not a golden rule because as we all know other factors come into play. You aren't going to be successful growing food for a billion people in a desert no matter where on the map it is.

As for Canada the weather can be very harsh. Even with modern technology Canadians have bunched up along their southern border with the US. Despite having one of the largest countries in the world 90% of them live within 150km of the US border leaving the vast majority of their country almost uninhabited. Which as we know is a similar story in Siberia.

There were not 10's of millions of Native Americans living in Canada.
Obviously there were some (like the famous Eskimos) but not 10's of millions.

Corona virus stops most travel and thus migration to and from nations with Covid problems. Immigration to Canada is down 341k (19) to 158k (20).
Asia and Africa don't really have a Covid problem so perhaps tens or hundreds of millions of African men will move to China and Vietnam while Chinese men move to the wastelands of Africa.
