A video posted on the internet shows members of Lebanon’s Hezbollah militia executing wounded Syrian rebels who were captured when the Syrian town of al-Qusair was recaptured in June by the Syrian regime forces backed by Hezbollah’s army.

The battle over al-Qusair marked the first publically declared engagement of Hezbollah in the Syrian conflict, with group’s leader Hassan Nasrallah vowing not to allow Syrian rebels take Syrian towns bordering Lebanon.

The video is expected to revive tensions in Lebanon between the Shiite Hezbollah and Sunni Islamists supporting the Syrian uprising.
Lebanese journalist Lokman Sleem said the video further indicts Hezbollah and “confirms that the group’s intervention in Syria wasn’t in the name of Allah but in the name of Iran and its interests.”

But Lebanese political analyst Kassem Kassir defended Hezbollah’s intervention in Syria saying that it “protected Lebanon from the repercussions of war” and sided with the Syrian people against “extremist groups.”

He said Syria is a strategic passage of military aid flowing from Iran to Hezbollah, and that the militia group would not allow the supply routes to be controlled by its foes –the rebels fighting to overthrow Syrian President Bashar al-Assad.

He pointed out that the video’s authenticity cannot be confirmed and that Nasrallah previously pledged to respect to the moral rule of war, a claim Journalist Sleem rejected.

..........okay, so were are these people who claim Hezbollah is so humane?

What a bad excuse to get involved.

Both sides have committed horrible atrocities, it is pointless to attempt to demonize either one.

It's not about that. It's sad to see them dedicate their resources to support a terrible leader. This stirs up sectarian tensions.

What is to be expected of this is there will be no outrage over this to the like a of the outrage expressed over rebels. It's like it's these people's jobs to criticize rebels.

Where are all the hindus raging and calling these men monsters? Woot.

You won't see them.

Hindu is Here and he has already mentioned both sides have lost Humanity in this battle long ago .

It seems that Sunni-Shi'ite warring will continue for many years further. A pity, that. There must be resolution, and soon. The Islamic world needs unity, not civil war. I do think, though, that if most Syrians are indeed Sunni, maybe a Sunni leader should rule over them. It is only appropriate.

Everyone loses humanity in war, including Indians. The point is people choose to not express outrage of one side due to their politics.

Isn't it the same Everywhere . How many Times uyghur/Tibet issue is raised here and "muslims" condemn china . Oh wait , its a ally .

What about Turkey protests , Egypt downfall , Libya and Plethora of other issues . Everything at the end boils down to politics . And everyone sees a bigger demon on the opposing side and finds a justification for demon on his side . So grow up .

Did you get my point? Politics comes with owning up to things. Which people don't do. I do though and believe in that.

There are very few "Neutral" people which you will find on this forum . Who can criticize the wrong on both sides without partiality . I am trying to be one of them and there a few members which already are .

Seems like our Shi'ite friends want an ultimate final long lasting battle in the region , That is why they are still backing Assad . They have Iran and Russia to support . Sunnis are technically alone , KSA or Turkey being a western allys don't seems to be independent states and other muslim nations don't have much to do with shia as shia don't exist in other muslim region . The war might continue in central middle eastern region . Excluding GCC the central middle eastern states are in now deep trouble. It started with Iranian revolution , Later American invasion in Iraq and Afghanistan destabilized our region and now Russian Interests have provoked this last fire in the region.

In Libya, Egypt it's also the Hezbollah or the salafists?

It's what they get for making so much problems in Syria, and the salafists have made at least 1000 times more executions.

It's not like the salafists executing not heavily wounded people, here the Hezbollah finish them that's all.

Video is not working

What other choice is there then execute the enemy ? Hezbollah has no prisons, they execute with the aim of execution unlike your new friends who use knifes.

Hamas executes IDF soldiers when they capture them @Hazzy997
