It is to me and to the three non-US men who lead the UN nuclear inspection teams. Theirs were never to advocate military actions or not but to advise the major political leaders, within their scope of expertise, of what was Iraq's nuclear capabilities. None have ever wavered in their duties. If anything, each successive team prosecuted Iraq even more aggressive than the previous based upon their predecessors' reports, which were not favorable to Iraq.

I suggest you remove the word 'invasion' out of your misleading argument. None of Iran's international allies will come to Iran's aid should the US decide to act unilaterally. All knows it.

1. right, iraq was never too open to the inspectors but non the less like i said i found the nuclear reason to be less then credible back then, and i guess time has proven my doubt to be valid.

2 if the us "acts"(happy?) then yea i think no one will intervene (us being the most powerful nation and all annd just as i feel the us would not intervene(risk WWIII) in taiwan if ccp invaded(its okay here cause they're commies) tomorrow) but this leads to alot of other consequences including a further fall in the power of the UNSC which will be even more useless than it is now. and if the us acts and nothing is found then the consquences will be far worst, if something is found however then the government can justify it prehaps to lessen the impact of acting basically alone. not to mention being streched right now militarically, it will be far worst if a full attack happens(ie: not just a airstrike) coincidentally an airstrike i feel will be light weight but the problem is it will not have the confidence of destroying the Iranian nuclear program if it has one and will only push them to try harder

Varyag is being degaussed.
Maybe the engine is already installed?
But they should remove all the stuff on the deck first.

China Defense Blog: Degaussing the Varyag

that should mean most of the major inner furnishings are finished cause if they installed engines at this point that would add more than enough metallic mass to render the degaussing ineffective

That's what I was thinking too.

Just the installation process could re-magnitise things.

Turns out the container like structures on deck are prob modularised components.
Could it be they were just disguised to look like containers
