this is plainly the wrong attitude: a political man doesn't desire peace; he doesn't desire war. peace in particular doesn't come to you just because you desire it. i desire only what is good for china and by extension for its most important allies.

I have grown up watching Americans go to war here n there and the MO has been the same. Pound the enemy's ground forces from the air after gaining air superiority, then when only pockets of ground forces are left then move in.

Americans have never fought ground forces head on without first significantly diminishing them - not that I'm saying they should.

The MO would be the same for anyone no matter the degree of capability. What is the sword? The ability to attack an opponent from a distance. Same for the spear, the arrow, the sling, and even the horse. For the horse, it give us the ability to attack and retreat at greater speed than we could on our own human legs. You do not hesitate to use your 100 aircrafts just because the enemy have 200 or even 2000. You just use whatever you have judiciously regardless of how many the enemy have and regardless of whether you have the superior quantity.

In modern warfare with the air component, any military that does not seek to have the same ability as its potential adversary deserve to be defeated.

China can't match to US just by making some cheap weapons.
Some real wars are needed to keep our army excellent.
But sadly CPC is becoming coward day by day.
