I think the problem with most of these Americans are, they seem to have their heads up their . They live thousands of miles away, most of them uneducated and illiterate yet so arrogant, they get to vote on whom to bomb or actually have a say in these wars. If you go through most of their posts in this forum, you will see that these idiots don't seem to understand why there presence is so unwanted in the region. But I want them to stay in the region, and hope they make a few more mistakes like they did with the Mujhahideens, so it will go on to haunt them to their graves.

Killing a leader is a blow in the moral and political arenas.

The actual war will be over when the majority of people and fighters on one or both sides believe they can achieve their goals _better_ through negotiations and politics rather than warfare.

So the death of the next alQuada leader will not be as important news to me as hearing that the middle level of alQuada is really being locked up or eliminated.

If we in the west focus primarily on killing the upper leadership of muslim terror organisations, and not on the circumstances that get terror organisations new recruits all the time, then this war could go on for a very long time.

Internet discussions where for instance the futility of violent resistance against forces as powerful as the west's militaries are openly discussed and the social-political benefits of peaceful resistance against such unwanted western influences too, will I hope matter more than how many terrorist leaders we kill.

As for winning the war through military means, i believe the west should go after the middle operation levels of alQuada at least as much as against the leadership level of alQuada.

Take out the bomb makers, convince the suicide bombers that militarily-futile suicide operations are not the way to heaven, and convince the populace they're not helping themselves by sheltering terror operatives.

Make it difficult for those alQuada leaders to find people to run operations.

If you restrict yourselves to killing leader after leader, and you'll end up creating recruitment tools for new operatives and their new leaders every 5 years.

Fortunately the western militaries know this already.

For your disappointment America is far from bankruptcy, and they overcome much harder economic crisis in 1929. They are already recovering as we speak. Guess you will need to bow for there superiority for another century at least.

Israel defeated all its barbaric and primitive enemies and has no problem to deal with the new Palestinian Nazi regime known as Hamas. We defeated all Arab armies when the were only 600 hundred thousand in Israel. Now we are 7 millions, if I were you, I would perpare myself for an eternity of disappointments.

The US is doing the Muslim world a favour when it fights its own war (which it is too weak to fight) against radial Islamic terror organisations like Al Qaeada. Pakistan can only survive if the US continue to do Pakistan's hard job and fight against terrorists in Pakistan's territory, such as OBL and his crony Al-zwaeiri (or whatever his name is).
