US Wants BD to Deploy Troops in Afghanistan

During Pakistan time, out of all the people in the west Pakistan, Bangali troops were most close with the Pathan soldiers. Same will happen with the Afghan Pathans as well.

I think you should deploy your troops as soon as you can in Afghanistan then you will find the difference between your Fantasies and the realities on the ground.

Are you serious ?:D

Breaking USSR

Ok sir please stop it, i can't take it anymore:rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl:

BD can get much needed US support in return.

Just like Pakistan did and continues to recieive?

Apparently, not many Pakistanis seem to consider it as support!

Wah! what a support that is wrecking your whole country from drones to aafia siddiqui.

Better do tauba from such a support

Aise dost hon toh dushman kee zaroorat kise hai?

Nice thinking!.

But don't you think Taliban will see Muslim nations having troops in Afghanistan as traitors for doing USA's bidding?

Taliban will do nothing if our troops go under UN banner. Even if it does not happen that way, the Taliban will accept our troops on condition that USA and non-Muslim troops would withdraw within a time frame.

However, if the USA does not give a time table for its withdrawal, there is a possibility that not only Afghan Talibans, but also our own unknown radicals, who are just keeping silent now, may simultaneously destabilize both the countries. BD should not take such a risk in a situation like that, it does not have to show its macho.

So who do you think broke USSR ??

Its an internationally recognized fact that CIA & ISI were the main players in it - do you any source to prove it wrong?

Consequences are attached to every action but again you need to look what you gained from them.

We stopped an inevitable invasion of Pakistan by soviets and that is not something inconsiderable which came at a heavy price.

* lets not discuss this topic here anymore.

Guys, Bangladesh is in no way in position to send more than 5-10000 soldiers and they will be deoployed in limited scale. But having a neutral muslim country soldier on the ground will give USA the much needed acceptability in Afhganistan as well as in wider muslim world. I think Bangladesh should seriously think about sending its troops there. If we could bring lawless Siera Leon under our control who also took Bengali as their national language then why not to our Brother Afhgainstan?

. . . .
Woww.. So is BD going to Afghanistan???

And has UN missions become religion specific ones?/

So no more Sierre Leone, Rwanda, West Guninea for countries from this region??

Great news!!!!

It's same as shooting ones foot! Why on dear earth Bangladeshish want to die in rugged mountains of Afghanistan? High on poppy or what? :-/

The same could be said when sent our troops to West Africa. And after so many years of hard work we gained enormous influence in those region. Lots of business opportunities are coming. We are even thinking of taking land from them as lease and do farming there which will create huge employment for our farmers. You have to take risk sometimes to gain something in the future.

Social feeling of discontent on a variety of factors like failed attempts at reform, a stagnant economy, military buildup at the expense of domestic development, economic growth getting at a standstill are the reasons I learned from these years..

I cant recollect any threat to USSR , not alone a single enemy soldier stepping up his leg in its territory not alone the thought of any threat to its geographical area i can recollect upon.

USSR came into Afghan mess and left and in 1985 USSR broke due to lots of reasons. People claiming we broke it ... we broke it... i have nothing have to say .:coffee:

And the breakup wasn't sudden it was gradual and carefully executed dividing the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics into individual states.
