I presume Obama thinks such a statement has as much veracity as pre-Abbottabad claims by Pakistani officials that Osama bin Laden wasn't in Pakistan, followed by their post-Abbottabad pleas of incompetence. At best, Obama believes the latter explanation, hence the protection plan is a logical response, isn't it? After all, we can't help Pakistan protect its assets more than we have already. If the people are simply incompetent, all the equipment and training the U.S. provides simply won't do any good.

I dont think it is that easy either for US to control Pakistan stratigic assets.
its not a compound where some one is hiding they will raid and control.
and then it will be pakistan who may take any action against an aggressor.
and in my openioni US does not know each and every site of neuclear storages of pakistan.

We are not Arabs that need Mercenaries...i must say that areas especially the port of Gwadar be handed to joint armed forces of the TRIAD...including Pakistan China & Turkey. This is the only solution that will in future deter any US prospects of intervening in Pakistan boundaries

Yes Lead does stop radiation , but that too depends on the thickness of the Lead cover.
every time they would be moved, they will get a radiation signature
