You think Indians are stupid? They are far more patriotic than we Pakistanis are, in the right sense of the word. They have far more success in building an image of 'Indian nation' among themselves. Pakistani politicians keep on playing ethnic card everywhere to get into power while this happens in India as well, but only in remote or disputed places.

On the contrary, US will find it far more convenient in every way to build army/naval bases in Pakistan to control terrorism here.

I wonder what military tech they will dangle in front of India to make this happen....obviously something to give them parity with China. Stealth, nuclear aircraft carrier propulsion, spy satellite tech, underwater listening device access...something is going to be an offer that is too tempting to refuse.

India is not looking for parity with china, the main aim is to bring millions out of poverty without sacrificing Independence.
Besides we are still quite close to russia, so it wont happen.

its not about patriotism, its about history. We were a NAM founding country and it still continues in our policy.

Patriotism has no other meanings other than doing right thing for your country, in the sense of wisest choice and not in the sense of any bravado. Patriotism is not about false pride or any such thing we usually consider it to be. However we do have to take pride in what we are, Pakistanis (or you as an Indian), accept it, and do the best we can. Which means disavowing bad/wrong things in our society and never take pride in being evil.
