us regime threatens to defile and desecreate sacred religious Muslim sites

There won’t be a war with Iran. Both sides talking about destroying each other is all bluster. Neither side is suicidal. Using extreme language is a very effective deterrent strategy. You use it to prevent wars. Iranian generals constantly use it. Trump constantly use it.
But do you agree that Trump has necessarily cost the life of an American?

You don't blow up a general to deter someone.

This was the US retaliation for the attack on their embassy. A weak response by the US and Iran would have kept needling the US and things would have spiralled out of control in small increments. By making the first retaliatory strike so big, this made a major global incident. Now world leaders will urge both sides to show restraint from now on as everyone knows this could lead to a major war that drags many countries. This strike will actually prevent an all out war. All the extreme language is bluster.

This is why it is important for at least the regional countries to unite. Despite all our differences and various interests we must unite in the face of danger.

It is not a coincidence why the US is so obsessed with this particular region. You look at the list of nations that the US is constantly picking on and almost all are concentrated in this region. Just to name a few Pakistan, Iran, Afghanistan, China and Russia.

Wisdom dictates to unite and form some sort of coalition to protect our region, peoples and interests from an illegal intruder. The reason why the US is so emboldened is because we are too fragmented and don't even unite in the face of extreme danger. It is easy pickings.

This guy is an Indian. 100%.

Trump doesn’t want war with Iran. But he can’t look weak by letting Iran get away with shooting down a drone and now attacking an embassy. He had to do something.

Trump has saved the US from a regime change ground war that the Neocons wanted. Thousands of people will die from that ground war. The embassy attack and Soleimani killing will be the major events. Both sides will be cautious of doing stupid things from now on. Both don’t want all out war. This is why they use extreme and stupid language instead.

When you punch someone, you punch them hard and make it hurt the first time so they know you mean business. Then you tell them if you do that again you’ll get punched harder and get knocked out. That first big punch is the deterrent to any further fighting.

When other person punches you harder you'll understand that punching first isn't a deterrent.

The number of likes for this vile Islamophobic threat from the president is shockingly high for a country that supposedly "cares so deeply" about their Muslim "friends"

Make no mistake. The average westerner is a rabid Islam hating racist. There are thousands of such videos like the one below gloating about killing "your kind" like you're pigs.

Happy Ending

Soon iran will meet the same fate...

That other person has already punched. Iran punched the US first with embassy attack. The US counter punched back very hard between the eyes. Now both sides got their punch in. They don’t want to fight and die. Now they use verbal threats to deter the other from further attack.

Iran won’t do foolish things to push the US into a corner. Survival is the number one priority of human beings.

With all due respect you hardly have anything to back your assertions up with other than saying that they both got their respective punches in ad hominem. No, they most definitely did not. One punched the other way harder, and Iran will respond, they've already made up their mind.

The killing of Soleimani was way out of proportion due to who he was, he wasn't just some field general, the man was a diplomat and go-between for Iran and other regional leaders as well as being the No.2 in all of Iran directly behind Ali Khamenie himself. Countries just don't go around murdering high level officials willy nilly, and this action did not whatsoever make the situation better.

This sort of death will warrant (and Iranian retribution is coming no matter what you say to the contrary) an equal or possibly more deadly revenge attack back.

The red flag over the Jamkaran Mosque in Qom city as well as every Iranian offical both policy makers and military saying there will be a military response is already telling enough as to what will happen. Iran has said it time and time again, they might not want a conflict but they aren't afraid to get into one.

Trump's latest tweet almost certainly painted the U.S. and Iran into a corner that will only lead to war, possibly a High intensity limited confrontation but one that will cause insane amounts of physical damage to key oil installations the region over.

Again, the decision haS already been made to draw blood for this killing, not some useless American grunts mind you, whoever Iran is planning to kill will be important to critical functions for the U.S. in the middle east, just as Soleimani was critical to Iranian operations in the Middle East.

I'll be fair and give your pragmatic stance a point though, Iran could and most likely will leave the JCPOA and NPT in the future, there is also the Iraqi parliamentary vote to kick out the U.S. troops from Iraqi soil which can also help abate Iranian emotions. This could be enough retribution in of itself as it would pave the way for Iran to build a nuke and establish long lasting deterrence but everything Iran has said and the militias in Iraq have said is to the contrary of your pragmatic take on this.

To put it bluntly, just because nations have a lot to lose doesn't mean they won't risk losing it. It is not outside the realm of possibility that we see a large scale limited high-intensitiy confrontation between Iranian and American forces. In fact, it has quite a good chance of going down.

Iran won’t resort to killing. They will leave the Nuclear deal. As I said, survival is the only thing human beings care about. Iran is not a suicidal nation. Directly attacking US bases will get a significant retaliation by the US.

Trump is threatening total annihilation of Iran because he knows Iran is angry and they might strike US bases. This will mean he will have no option but to retaliate against Iran itself. This will lead to a direct war with Iran. Trump does not want a war with Iran in an election year where high oil prices alone will damage the US economy. He is scared of a war with Iran. This is why he is all bluster right now hoping Iran won’t attack. Both Iran and the US want to get out of this situation saving face.

Both wanting to get out this while saving face is a given but that doesn't mean that Iran won't attack back for this killing. Yet that doesn't change the fact that Iran will draw blood over this in a major way most likely.

U. N should disarm, detain and try these these radical Christian leaders at war crimes tribunals before its too late.

Are you a fool? It's like a child giving a body blow to another and saying it was good for you and prevent us from a fight. Wtf, it might work like that in a western school certainly not in the East.

Iran is not going to commit suicide over 1 military official regardless of how important he was. They just won’t. Iran does not want to push the US into a corner with a strike on US bases where a direct strike on Iran will be the only US option. US strike was not on Iranian territory, it was in Iraq. I see Iran will use this to leave the nuclear deal and pressure Iraq to kick out US presence. Iran is more strategic than people give it credit for.
