Well before the Spring of 2018 we had a spilt Govt in the State House, NYS is Blue but they are pockets of the State that are Red example Upstate NY,Long Island, Staten Island(NYC), all were until recently very red they lean red now cause the demographics are changing the state is more Hispanic and Asian now and Dems pander hard to them as well.Now back to State Govt,the State Senate was under the Republicans because Moderate Democrats or Blue Dog Democrats sided with the GOP to give control of the State Senate it kept Cuomo in checked now since all those Democrats are primaried out the left wing of the NYS Democratic Party is now in control and now its Caliofornia Northeast now btw Dan Donnovan lost to Max Rose a US Army vet in Staten Island so the GOP has no Congress member from the 5 boros starting this January

yes what happened in new york is tragic. btw, i heard there was one democrat who sided with the republicans and allowed them to control the senate. you know what hapenes to him?

its also sad that republicans lost staten island. It looks luke both parties re shifting to extremes which can be a problem. Ocasio-Cortez's victory and the nomination of roy moore and kris kobach are good examples of this.
btw, what happened with roy moore was brutal, but nothing compared to the florida gubernatorial election. which is why im glad ron desantis won and all the republican cabinet candidates won. Its also great that rick scott is going to unseat bill nelson.

To be fair, the race could go to a recount depending on how the absentee and provisional votes go. In that case it will be a repeat of last night, only Kemp will win by several points because Ted Metz voters will vote for him.

And year, Abrams is being a sore loser, like Bill Nelson in Florida. She kind of reminds me of Serena Williams' tantrum lol. At least Andrew Gillum conceded honorably.

Yeah but Gillum made up for his better concession in that crap he pulled in the debates. Basically openly saying DeSantis is a racist and that you are racist too if you dont vote for his black skin (and if you question his running of talahassee or his acepting ticket bribe from the undercover FBI guy, you are definitely RACIST).

The worst parts of the old democrat party are being harnessed again (just different kind of plantation now), and they are leaving the good parts behind (and conceding those to Trump). I think Trump has a solid game plan now for 2020.
