US offers top of the shelf weapon systems to India

Pakistan would have done the same if it was in Indias position.

Pakistan was in this position in 80's and 90's but didn't adopted crying diplomacy...

There are lot of factors that can influence US. Like China uses the trade card and India uses Defense purchase and local market card.

Russia tries the same to bully Europe in the name of gas supply.

UK plays the game with Argentina ( Falkland island issue).

You must be remembering US crying over Iran gas issue and India agreeing to step away from it.

US cried over various other issues too which you are well aware of.

we see influencing and crying everywhere when big powers are involved.

I agree with you on US and UK, but Russia and China are more relying on silent diplomacy..

And again I will repeat that this type of diplomacy is the expression of desire of becoming bully boy of the region which will surly be not accepted by Pakistan.. And thus more conflicts among both.
And if their is any conflict in future than don't blame Pakistan as India is in real mood of trying adventures.

BTW till now what has been achieved by India through this kind of a diplomacy.. nothing but increasing tension in the region.
US makes India happy by issuing few statements and does exactly what we demand from it.

watch your vulgarity not everyone grew up as a streetrat and lacks intelligence. Just as not everyone enthusiastically shares foolish propaganda like members of a certain country.:taz:

Yea some people grew much worse than that with no intelligence..I love when you guys say the bolded part :rofl: Everything is a propaganda for you guys..

and same goes to news quoted by your countries media

If it was a non-indian author then ok. But Indian author? Come on now. You know how you guys are like. :cheesy:

Someone finds a dollar on the street-- typical indian headline would be: "Man wins lottery!"

Someone says we may go to mars ---typical indian author will write --"We are going to Mars next month"

Nope sorry.

OK now swallow this and drink some water after it

Michele Flournoy: India Remains Important Partner to US

Michele Flournoy: India Remains Important Partner to US | Executive Gov

Written by Molly Mulrain

Michele Flournoy, undersecretary of defense for policy, called India an “increasingly important partner to the U.S.,” yesterday at a meeting with members of the Asia Society.
The Defense Department policy official explained despite criticism about the Obama administration’s commitment to the U.S.-India relationship, the two nations’ cooperation with each other continues to mature due to shared values and interests.
“The U.S.-India relationship is not built on, and cannot be sustained on, grand gestures or brief moments of crisis,” Flournoy said. “This bond is grounded in common democratic values and converging interests that make India and U.S. natural partners. The U.S. and India have an overarching shared interest in promoting global stability and security.”
Both India and the United States are committed to the long-term stability and reconstruction of Afghanistan and ending the proliferation of weapons of mass destruction and other harmful advanced technologies, she explained.

One of the most crucial elements in the relationship of the two nations is the Defense Policy Group, which will allow both countries to plan further engagements, discuss concerns and exchange strategies.
“We also have dialogues that discuss our defense trade, service-to-service cooperation [and] technical cooperation
, and a group dedicated to developing and ensuring procedures for keeping our technologies secure,” Flournoy said. “The growth and comprehensiveness of this relationship is nothing short of remarkable.

My Indian counterparts now tell me that their defense and security relations with the United States are as close as they are with any nation.”
Another element that sustains the relationship is the trading of defense equipment, the undersecretary explained. Through this trade, the department hopes to continue modernizing the Indian military.

“Whether the scenario involves humanitarian assistance, counterterrorism cooperation or maritime security activities,” she explained, “having common equipment will allow more seamless cooperation.”
In the time to come, the United States and India will continue to build on the collaborated efforts to secure global stability and strategy.

@ S_O_C_U_M..that foto is taken by an indian named pappu singh so the whole article is BS.

No, you meant leave it when NO PAKISTANI members on here believe it and only Indian Members believe it. But nice try sounding decent and sophisticated. :taz:

Any news source I come across that is written by an Indian or has links to India it goes straight to the:

:cheers::cheers:
that's stupidity you buy it and then throw it in trash. I do not mind, that way it helps our economy.

By the way if you do not believe in it why asking for source, leave it.

I mean, seriously?

India cries over everything. It ran to the Arabs, U.S. about Pakistan. I mean they cried and cried against Pakistan, and did they accomplish anything? Pakistan is getting F-16's, all the latest bombs, money, support.

And when they cry they are so desperate that they will cry to anyone. When India went to K.S.A. and asked them for Pakistan not to support terrorism. Did they realize who they were requesting this from?

Seems like you dont understand what diplomacy is..look at where we stand today in International arena and how world view you now..Its called diplomacy mate..you guys think its all crying and whining but with good diplomacy we can increase influence on other countries..Hope you didnt forgot the french denial of avionics..:azn:

Anyway the news is not meant for any other nationals and is targeted towards India, so guys please stop spoonfeeding people about international relations and get on with the discussions.

Some just dont know what a debate is so comes up with googled offtopic pics and dismissing everything in regard to it.. So why we bother, Lets just discuss.

Oh man!!!!!!!!!!! Just look at the wording of this article and compare it with Indian one>>>> lots and lots of exaggeration..
Obviously these kind of statements (which you bolded) are not new. US definatly want MRCA contract thus few lolly pops are necessary. But everytime Indian media hype it as it is something out of the world.

just quoting Blains2 as he has explained it nicely:
Nice joke. What top of the shelf weapons are we talking about? Everything is the same as what was offered to India 5 years ago. You have to admit, a little juice here and there helps with more readership.

diplomacy is crying and beating to death the mumbai attacks. labeling the attacks 26/11 to be synonymous with 9/11.

Constantly bringing up the 26/11 to get sympathy from the world. Constantly crying and whining about everything. That is diplomacy for sure.
