The reason green light was not given is not the reasons given in various posts, but it was due to sensitivities of the new bride in bed, India.

Otherwise engine and systems on board the FADEC-controlled Pratt & Whitney Canada PT6C turboshaft engine on AW 139 is also, to some extent, sensitive.

The real issue is India and the eagerness of US to please it for the larger game on China. Indians know how to bargain.

I believe the recent official visit of the Russian Foreign Minister - Sergey Lavrov, has cleared up any doubts. Unlike america, Russia seeks genuine bilateral partnership. For the past few years, Russia has kept a balanced relationship with india, despite india going full swing into the american camp, particularly india joining quad.

Meanwhile america has a duplicitous track record, as we have all seen with AH-1Z deal, F-16s and now T-129s. It's a fools mentality that some in Pakistan still think that partnership with america can still be salvaged or that they could squeeze anything out of them.

Be it T-129s or Eurofighters, Pakistan is guaranteed to witness biased policy of the West (including) tiny britain.

Russia is not dictated to by anyone, nor is China, neither is Iran. It is these countries whom Pakistan should be seeking establish strategic relations with.

Do you know what was discussed to come to that conclusion? Maybe he was there after COAS visit to Ukraine? Also what is stopping PA to order more Mi-35s besides the 4 they have in service? Were they not sold as counterinsurgency tools?

What technology leakage? The whole chopper is Turkey, only the engine is US and China Z-20(10 tons helo) has flown and fitted with more powerful engines than the American.

China turboshaft technology is on par or surpass US. What is there to leak and for us to see?

Why China DF-41 road mobile ICBM is the world best? Maybe you think Chinese need to steal US minuteman or Russia Torpol ICBM tech which both are far inferior to anything of China DF-41 missile.

Now Pakistan and US are foe. Those Pakistanis living in US shouldn't get emotion. You either support US or Pakistan.

The problem is the White Folks are good at the bargain too!!!

As for India, more animosity toward Pak -> more bargaining with the West -> more diving into the Western agenda -> more animosity toward China -> more being in the receiving end from China -> entire LAC being activated -> relocating forces from the Pak borders to the LAC -> more precious time for the Pak defenses
