This B model it is the most expensive among all. UK is the main customer and if this one crashed due to vertical landing.g system then the fix to problem might cost few $100 billion more.

Just 1 F35 crash in whole decade. It happens, you learn , rectify it and move on.
Glad that pilot is safe. He can spend time with his family. U.S.A can get other fighter, but nothing beats pilot experience & time, money they spent on pilot
