You do have motive and that is to create something in the west of Pakistan so that it's focus stays diverted. For that reason your RAW forced your govt to establish dozens of consulates along Pakistan border which are command centers for TTP and BLA type groups. You spend multi-billions on these assets thinking you can set your foots by the time Americans leave and then keep creating chaos in Western borders of Pakistan so that it's Army remain occupied and diverted from main issues like IOK and your 7 lakh terrorists can continue with their atrocities in IOK. After your TTP's 12/16 attacks you have lost all your support from Afghan govt that came under direct military pressure of Pakistan soon after Pakistani general flew there. To shock Indians Afghans even launch operation to eliminate TTP first time ever. Now your RAW trained groups are living on borrowed time and your multi billion investment that you could've used in some constructive way is going down the gutter line.

the problem here is the fact that in many cases, it wasnt nationalist/rebel forces engaging the occupation forces there...which is why they are called "fake" encounters

Middle East was never stable, Arabs used to get dragged in the fighting between the Persians and the Romans.

Arabs themselves used to be city states that constantly warred amongst themselves unless an outsider force came then they would unite, kick it out, and then war amongst themselves again.

But when Islam came the Middle East was actually very stable and peaceful until the crusades started, and then totally decimated by the Mongol invasion.

Then it had its ups and downs but was mostly stable. Until WW1 when everything went to the toilet again. You try to find Islam as the problem, you need to use your brain and realize that religion has nothing to do with it, people like you and your mentality of hating a certain religion or sect are no different at all than people like ISIS, you are all extremist and you need to ponder on that.
