US 'bigger enemy' than India for Pakistan: Imran Khan

i dont think US is a bigger enemy than india; that's ridiculous

though the current US admin --under these incompetent democrats -- is surely no friend. But then again, the U.S. camp is caught up in its own internal divisions and politics.

its about immediate threat sense... not that they compared one has qualified to be a friend or not enemy at all.

We need to make a clear distinction and understand the motives of an aspiring political candidate when it comes to baseless, inflammatory claims? Why label the United States as an enemy, especially when both countries are engaged in intense and extensive dialogue to resolve outstanding issues? Why disregard and turn a blind eye to all the efforts by both sides to overcome obstacles in the U.S – Pakistan relations. We have a common goal for the region, which is to bring peace and stability by eradicating terrorism and extremism. Is that not what Pakistan and the Pakistani people also want? So in what way is the US the enemy of Pakistan? Why live in such paranoia, which gives violent extremists the opportunity to create distrust and animosity between our two countries? We do not benefit from being enemies; this, forum readers, is understood by our leaders.

We understand Pakistani army concerns about going after the Haqqani network and we are working diligently to resolve them. As our Secretary of State Hillary Clinton has said, “We have asked the Pakistanis to squeeze the Taliban and the Haqqani Network. We recognize that, given their resources, it would be difficult for them to launch military action at this time. But what we can do is make sure we are totally synced up on all intelligence, to intercept and prevent attacks from – emanating from these safe havens. We can go after funding. We can go after couriers. We can do a lot together that will interrupt their abilities.”

We would like to clarify that the days of colonialism, the days of stealing resources, and the days of fighting for any religion, are history. If the United States has or had the intention to occupy Southwest Asia, would we have left the region after the Soviet war? Every country looks out for its security. We came to defeat Al-Qaeda terrorists and the Taliban who offered them safe haven, who were responsible for attacking our homeland. Those same hate-filled ideologies are harming Pakistan, who tried unsuccessfully to incorporate Taliban within their Swat Valley governance system; do you remember the outcome? So the question is who is really your enemy; India, the United States or the violent terrorist elements in Pakistan who are pushing for increased radicalization?

Yes! I understand the US is doing excellent job for peace and stability but I have only a small question , why we always find the source of funding for these terrorists from US and Europe??? or sometimes the middlemen from middle east who have extensive contacts in US/Europe????

If PTI is actually committed to do all this then PTI is the best option for pakistan.
