what about CPEC is it also a populist political move? ...i just want to hear your opinion....no argumentI already predicted that Make in India was just a populist political move..India does not have the required expertise and infrastructure..it could not even churn out a functional fighter in 40 years..soviet union and USA were churning out new super sonic planes ever few years - each with technology light years ahead...
any proof of this?We tried but didn't work out well.
This contract supposed to be Make in India proposal!!! This news literally came out of the blueany proof of this?
I don't think MII was ever seriously looked at in this case, not with the limited units required. It was just some Indian media nonsense as usual. This contract supposed to be Make in India proposal!!! This news literally came out of the blue
thats strange? why did india not go for a make in india proposal. make 6 in japan and 6 in india with part manufacturing capability in india
LOL ..OK swami jee..I could say the same to you!! But I won't!!
Because I might have touched a nerve there...lol what you replied is just a knee jerk reaction!!
Kiddo....go do your homework!!
Its true I also wondering why to invest on supply line me for just 18 aircrafts? Hope sense prevailedI don't think MII was ever seriously looked at in this case, not with the limited units required. It was just some Indian media nonsense as usual.
It never made sense having a production line it hikes up the costs for just 18. Better by them in fly away condition. Excellent platform to be used in the island base.
This will be the first time we will use such aircraft in such a role. Let us see where this takes us.
They are unique and can operate in rough waters ideal for patrolling and recon ops
We don't have the capacity at HAL seeing they're already overburdened with the assembly of MiGs, SUs, Tejas, Hawks etc, unless most of the parts are outsourced to private manufacturers in India and abroad.thats strange? why did india not go for a make in india proposal. make 6 in japan and 6 in india with part manufacturing capability in india
But it is not weaponized. In fact, BEL will have to put military communications equipment on as Japan has refused it.
We are essentially getting a virtually civilian version which will be incorporated with military communications and sensors technology.
But an excellent fleet!
What benefits India is looking for with this plane?
Please be precise.
