Uighur Activist Accuses China of Covering Up Xinjiang Killings

As opposed to Xinhua? Which is not a state sponsored propaganda organ ?

What? I'm not defending the integrity of Xinhua here. It appears even a tu quoque fallacy is too high a standard for you. I guess when you read and attempt to disseminate propaganda works all day, your mind atrophies and your reasoning skills begin to run on logical fallacies.

Amazing, all the derailing techniques are here for everyone to see. Not a single post on the topic:disagree:
@Raphael, is South China Morning Post a Western propaganda organ as well?

Deadly Xinjiang 'terrorist' shootout revealed after week-long silence | South China Morning Post

A minor Chinese newspaper has for the first time reported on a violent confrontation last week between security forces and "terrorists" in Xinjiang, in which at least 22 people were killed, according to exile sources.

The Kashgar Daily reported on Wednesday on a memorial service earlier this week for Yan Xiaofei, a 32-two year old police officer who died during a security forces raid on a “gang of terrorists” in a building in Yecheng county, Kashgar prefecture, which borders on Afghanistan and Pakistan.

The newspaper, run by the local Communist Party committee, said Yan was killed during the "disposing of a violent terrorist gang on August 20". "He charged ahead with the battle in front of him, courageously and fearlessly braving death," the report said.

In addition to 22 killed in the raid, four others were arrested, said Radio Free Asia’s Uygur service earlier this week, citing local sources. The report also mentioned that the building where the raid took place had been monitored by a security forces’ helicopter for a week.

On the day after the raid, a Kashgar court sentenced nine people to jail for inciting racial hatred and ethnic discrimination, according to a local media report.

The clash and its resulting convictions point to growing ethnic unrest in the restive Western region. Earlier this month, a Kashgar court sentenced two men to death and jailed three more for participating in a clash in April in which 21 people were killed.

A clash in Turpan prefecture on June 26 had left 35 people dead. Two days later, Chinese security forces fired into a crowd of hundreds of people demonstrating against the closure of a mosque in Hotan prefecture, exile groups reported.

Rebiya Kadeer, the leader of the World Uyghur Congress, an exiled Uyghur rights advocacy group, condemned the extra-judicial killings in a statement. Kadeer said China had failed to address the long-standing issues underlying the ethnic tensions, adding that the label of terrorism “only serves to exacerbate increasing distrust in the authorities due to the pervasive impunity of their actions”.

Its not really a tu quoque cause I never really accepted your accusation that Voice of America, Radio Free Asia and Washington Post are propaganda organs.

If you are going to use fancy terms at least first try to understand what they really are, makes you look a like a pseudo intellectual otherwise.

its even sader for Indians, if you ask for job, the govt makes you to earn $1.5 perday, if you ask for education, they make you intellectually handicapped, if you ask for food, they make you un-nourished, if you ask for hygiene, they make the whole country a $hit hole, if a woman (from any age) wants a free walk everywhere, the gov will make sure she will get gang r@pped and he criminals wont be charged

and it gets even worse, if you ask for social equality, they slash the caste name on your head, so you can never challenge their divine rull of this feudal country

I completely understand how your communist nation has force fed you such propaganda to make you feel better about yourselves - of course the more enlightened Chinese citizens continue to seek refugee status in India.

it's worst than performing genecide on it own people, no wonder your formal colonial master liked to let Indians live in slum .

Are you referring to British your liberator who along with America liberated China from the Japanese and gifted you modern China but in return thankless Chinese hate their liberators British and America. :woot:

Not to forget, with India help.

No Pakistani is protesting Chinese act??? Is Chinese Muslims are less Muslim???

This damage control reeks of desperation. You implicitly acknowledged and accepted the charges by declining to reject them, and then trying to absolve yourself with a (how embarassing) failed tu quoque fallacy by bringing up Xinhua out of the blue (wtf?) . And btw, your opinion is not needed on whether RFA and VoA are propaganda organs. This is a factual matter, and they are factually propaganda organs. To deny that makes you a disingenuous hack, not that your conduct has given us the confidence t think otherwise.

Stop pouting that your thread has been a complete failure. If no one is staying on topic, it's because your derailed it yourself with shoddy sources and now you're desperately trying to save face.

The only one doing the damage control are the Chinese here. It happened in Kashgar( its a very big city, how can something like this happen there)--It didn't happen in Kashgar. A lot of Uyghurs are part of CPC, hence Uyghurs are not being persecuted. American/western propaganda :blah:. And when none of that works lets resort to ad hominem India poverty, slum, blah blah blah. That pathetic quibbling right there is called desperation and damage control, and the Chinese folks here seem to be experts at that.

Stop pouting that your thread has been a complete failure. If no one is staying on topic, it's because your derailed it yourself with shoddy sources and now you're desperately trying to save face.

Yes of course, Washington Post and South China Morning Post are all shoddy sources. Heck even the Chinese officials have accepted that 22 Uyghurs were shot dead, are you sure you still want to question the veracity of the incident?

Chinese genocide of muslims continues. Rip fallen

I miss people with green flags in here. :omghaha:

but anyhow, when people with green flags express outrage the next time some French immigrant is arrested with her headgear i'll kindly direct them here.

Strange no Pakistani bothered even to post a RIP for their ummah brothers.

@Roybot you must have asked @Zarvan or @BATMAN 's view on this.

lol, yeah sure, intellectually handicapped indians are surelly incapable of understanding how others think about the primitive India other than those Gandi family's propaganda $hit.

btw you can keep those dalia's dogs as long as you want, as those scums are no different from those Taliban terrorists, as they'd live in a $hit hole (Taliban--Afghanistan and Dalia dogs--India) for spiritual reasons rather than living in a civilized world..

who would give a RIP to terrorists?

if thats the case, we should give RIP to those bare foot 2008 Mumbai attackers, and especially those Maoists freedom fighters who recently killed few lousy Indian armed polices?
