UAE launches aid air bridge for Gazans

At the end of the day we need to do what suits our OWN people first before looking towards foreigners.

No one so far (Palestinians) looked out for Saudi handout, don't make yourself more important than you are. Saudi Arab as birthplace of Islam and holy land has special responsibility for well being of Muslims, more than any other Muslim country. In this case vocal Saudi support and use of their influence is what expected. That being said, Saudi rulers are not doing ANYTHING that suits interest of general Saudis other than house of saud and people in their payroll.

Marka international airport in Amman lollz

then it will go west bank after that israel if they allow then gaza

How great of Israel! They allowed humanitarian aids to the innocent people whom it has killed and injured hundreds of. Pal, Jordan has a peace treaty with Israel which obliges it to allow aids to pass into Palestinian territories.

Really? Is that why KSA is criticized by so many Muslims for doing something that ALL Muslim states do? The Palestinians are often demanding more action from KSA due to its state as a regional power, birthplace of Islam, religious and cultural influence and for almost being a direct neighbor of Palestine.

This is not correct. There are some problems with the rulers (like anywhere else and ESPECIALLY in the Muslim world) but they are overall doing a really good job and that is why most people are satisfied. They will be removed if necessary. The Arabs always remove unwanted governments/rulers at some point anyway if they choose to go against them. History is my witness.

PS:

Do you know which Muslim country that has donated the most to Palestine? That country is called KSA.

Which country has made the BY FAR best peace plan initiative (two-state solution) out of all Muslim countries? KSA again.

Arab Peace Initiative - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

It's not KSA's fault that Israel has not replied to that initiative even.

PS:

What is wrong with cleaning your house before proposing to clean the house of others?

@Hazzy997

I was not refering to you here but the usual suspects on PDF who blame everything on KSA. We know what camp that they belong to. KSA is not responsible for what Sisi is doing. He is the one ruling Egypt. KSA can't tell him what to do when it's a Egyptian-Palestinian matter.

If Gaza was bordering KSA then no such thing would have happened. That's for sure.

Mohammed orders enhanced aid to Gazans
UN relief agency official praises gesture

His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, ordered adding a Boeing 747 aircraft to the operations of Dubai International Humanitarian to transport aid via the Gaza Air Bridge.

The aircraft will transport aid to Gaza until next Sunday, as part of the Gaza Air Bridge set up by orders of Shaikh Mohammad to transport aid to the Palestinian people who are facing a rising death toll due to the brutal Israeli attacks on the Gaza Strip.

So far, more than 700 people have been killed and around 140,000 were forced to abandon their homes. Shaikh Mohammad also ordered the use of Antonov jets to support the Gaza Air Bridge in transporting food and relief aid to Gaza. Daily aid is estimated to weigh 150 tonnes, which will be transported to Amman and then to Gaza by land.

Pierre Krahenbuhl, Commissioner-General of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA), expressed his heartfelt thanks and gratitude to Shaikh Mohammad for his personal support and keenness to provide all forms of aid to alleviate the suffering of tens of thousands of Gaza residents.

The total value of aid that has been transported so far is Dh5.1 million.

Dubai rushes aid to Gaza
22 tonnes of medical supplies and 35,000 blankets flown to Amman

The airlift of emergency aid for the displaced and injured in Gaza ordered by His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, entered its fifth day on Friday.

A Boeing 747 and two C130s rushed 22 tonnes of medical supplies for the World Health Organisation (WHO) and 35,000 blankets for UNWRA to Amman for onward shipment by truck into Gaza.

The total value of the operation, which now includes 11 airlifts from Dubai, has reached about Dh10.1 million.

Jordan authorities have committed to keep the Jordanian side of border crossings into Israel open during the Eid holiday to facilitate the delivery of humanitarian aid to Gaza.

While there have been some bottlenecks in crossing into Gaza, the International Humanitarian City (IHC) shipments from Dubai have moved through without disruption or incidents so far.

The pressure for medical supplies has increased significantly, with UNWRA reporting more than 5,273 injured Palestinians.

The WHO shipment included a range of antibiotics, painkillers, and surgical supplies.

Gaza’s medical infrastructure has suffered severe degradation under the Israeli bombardment.
Hospitals and other medical facilities have been overwhelmed by large numbers of wounded civilians who face long and often agonising waits for treatment.

Earlier on Thursday, Shaikh Mohammad had ordered a Boeing 747 cargo aircraft to be put at the disposal of IHC until Sunday.

He also directed IHC to source other high-capacity aircrafts, such as the Antinov, to participate in the airlift operation for Gaza. This massive airlift operation will bring the total cargo capacity to 150 tonnes of aid per day delivered to Jordan for passage to Gaza.

Commissioner General Pierre Krähenbühl of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNWRA) for Palestine Refugees has thanked Shaikh Mohammad for his personal commitment and support in alleviating the distress of tens of thousands of Gazans.

Emergency supplies have come from stocks at IHC, “the world’s largest logistics centre for emergency aid”.

New stocks are being procured to ship to Gaza and replenish supplies. Principal donors to the operation are UNWRA, Emirates Red Crescent, WHO, Dubai Airwing, IHC and the UN World Food Programme.

From Amman, aid cargoes are then loaded onto trucks for transport into Gaza. The IHC made an urgent appeal to all relevant authorities to keep both the Allenby bridge and Kerem Shalom border crossing open during the Eid holiday to ensure that humanitarian aid shipments make it in to Gaza without delay.

UAE launches aid air bridge for Gazans

Following Shaikh Mohammad’s directives, a plane with relief material arrives in Amman

His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, has ordered the launch of an air bridge to deliver emergency aid to Palestinians in Gaza.

Following Shaikh Mohammad’s directives, a Boeing 747 cargo plane carrying 114 tonnes of humanitarian aid arrived in Marka international airport in Amman early morning on Monday.

The move is in solidarity with the Palestinians who suffer from difficult humanitarian conditions under the ongoing Israeli aggression.

Meanwhile, relief and humanitarian agencies operating in the International Humanitarian City in Dubai have embarked on the mission to send relief supplies to people affected by Israeli aggression.

Relief supplies have been donated to the United Nations Relief Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA) to distribute them to the displaced families in Gaza.

Emirates Red Crescent inks Dh150m deal for Gaza reconstruction

Nation’s commitment to standing by the Palestinian people reaffirmed

The Emirates Red Crescent (ERC) signed a Dh150 million agreement with the UN Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) to rebuild and reconstruct the Gaza Sector.

Shaikh Hamdan Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the Ruler’s Representative in the Western Region and President of the ERC, attended the signing of the agreement.

He reiterated the UAE’s fundamental and historical commitment to standing by the Palestinian people and supporting their humanitarian issues.

The agreement was signed by Dr Hamdan Musallam Al Mazroui, Chairman of the ERC, and Peter Ford, Representative of the Commissioner-General of the UNRWA.

“The UAE’s leadership and people are following the painful events and what is happening in Gaza with deep sorrow and hence the wise leadership has spared no effort to harness and mobilise all the potential to support the Palestinian brethren and mobilisation to stand by their side and help them overcome the plight without reminding them of favours,” Shaikh Hamdan said.

ma shaAllah, thankyou UAE, you are a brotherly state

Shaykh Zayed was a Sufi. His Maqam itself is a testimony to this fact. The Nahyan family is linked to Hadrami and Hijazi Sadaat. I can post pictures here to prove all of this.

This why we should not bother in supporting these people, cuz no matter what we say or do they won't see the good and will always bite your hands, i say f*ck em.

Najdis never liked Palestinians. They used the F word for them even when they were selling Palestine to the British in the 1920s

I dont think the turks and the saudis believe half their own stories let alone believe in other peoples super heroes.

Turks are a very religious Sunni Sufi people. Their scholars mention Imam Mahdi AS frequently in their speeches.

Even the pervert harun yahya wrote a book on Imam Mahdi

wait for imam mehndi.

Yes do wait for Imam Mendi, we have an Imam Mendi ourselves down the street, he makes such great Mendi. The past 1000 people who claimed to be Imam Mendi were put underground themselves. And I would put Imam Mendi underground preferably alive, in a casket to prolong the experience as much as possible.

Also Imam Mendi is an Islamist terrorist.

Do you believe in your Prophet? Not to be harsh but all that you just wrote here applies to your religious figures as well. Did you somehow get upset when Danish cartoons were published?
