Don't get jumpy as it makes you look immature.
No point carrying on this as you are not willing to listen to reason and are only interested in pushing your own agenda here.
PS - Akula/Yasen SSN scan do 35 knots/hr submerged so you are just using whatever numbers suit you.
He is not chinese, Bangladeshi... you are explaining something which he can't understand..
Akula can do 28 knots normal, 35 knots Over Heat according to Janes (and that is only "REPORTED" the same way AB class have a reported overheat speed of 50 knots.......... You do know what is overheat, right?
And this is not my agenda, rather all I quote is something called F.A.C.T, You don't have to believe it, you don't have to like it, that does not mean it is less true.
meh, it's just fun to expose their lack of knowledge, whoever they are
Chinese, Bangladeshi or anyone is the same to me, because to me, he is just a hack, that's I, well, at least I can say I don't discriminate, I only target idiots, regardless where they came from ...hehe
@jhungary
Even though I wasn't the target, I found myself wincing.
You don't take prisoners, do you?
The fact remains that there is very little in it between the submerged cruising speed of modern SSNs and surface ships. This was not the case in WW2 where diesel submarines were way slower than the surface ships they hunted, coupled with the fact that they can stay submerged for months at a time.
I have got across what I wanted to get across so let us just wait till 2035 and see how the US/China rivalry pans out.
LOL - An Indian or two comes here to show support and you start jumping with joy.

And no, they cannot submerge for months at time, you can only submerge as long as you have food to support your crew. Unless you are claiming you can grow stuff inside a submarine, a usual endurance is 45 days.
Man, you need to get your fact straight.
So you know more than BAE systems?:

"
An Astute submarine’s 90-day dived endurance is only limited by the amount of food that can be carried and the endurance of the crew."
You are making up facts to support your agenda and are jumping with joy that some Indians are coming to show support as they are only doing it as they are against China.
Anyway I have had enough of an idiot like you now and are bowing out for good now. At first I thought you had some maturity but obviously it turns out not now.
An Astute submarine’s 90-day dived endurance is only limited by the amount of food that can be carried and the endurance of the crew
Suggested that 90 days endurance is the maximum endurance which is LIMITED by the food that can be carried and the endurance of the crew, which means the actual endurance is limited to both food they can carry and the crew own endurance.

This is really going to be my last reply to you as you are conversing in a language that you do not have sufficient mastery of. Many other posters have commented on your lack of grammar skills in English so do not just take my word for it.
What BAe systems are saying is that the 90 day endurance would have been higher if not for food/human endurance limits. The reason is that they cannot store more food, and the limits of having a human crew, that it may not be safe for their physical/psychological well-being to stay underwater any longer than 90 days.
SSNs in wartime will stay submerged for the maximum of 90 days for operational reasons.
@jhungary You clearly are unable to recognise a martia(n)l race ... they will feed on each other and make it 900 days of survival underwater!
un-related - IN pushed Chakra at 32 knots for prolonged intervals, it held .. but then we dont venture out of IOR
If am not mistaken, your wife is also a military professional right?
But you see, you are arguing with someone who lives in denial mode.. they just assume themselves by looking at some random pic...ironically i have come across ocean of posts- whom just said F 35 is not looking stealthy or some other Jet .. they can scan a jet by looking at pic and decides degree of stealth..
lol, I would have thought I rather not recognise any race, I tend to speak out if people are being stupid about something......I think if you stay underwater for 900 days, you will pronbabl would have been killed by Carbon Dioxide poisoning.
