They are getting better and better just yesterday a police guy took out two robbers with AK-47 and no gun can stop suicide bomber but they can stop another gun man

Yes i agree the only way to stop a suicide bomber is a bullet in his head before he reaches a police, for which you need to have a AK 47 atleast....

Yes, police failed horrible during 26/11.... but they ve been upgraded intensively to defend any major city in India today and can hold their ground until the NSG arrives.

you forget SFF and NSG, R&AW, and IB?? now a days state police special cell is doing a great job particularly Delhi police special cell in counter-terrorism...

There is no country in the world where every police officers keep an Weapon with them unless you are in a city where crime rates are way too high.
Police is to maintain law and order not to do close combats with rouge criminals.
What we need is more specialised units in every city or state which are on stand by and ready to go in on short notice.
