We deal with it differently. As Americans have personally experienced utter failure when it comes to fighting an ideology with weapons. You can only fight an ideology with an ideology.

Plus we don't want to make the same mistake as US in creating more extremists by stirring up the hornet's nest.

Extremism in Pakistan is not as huge a problem as the West makes it out to be.

Ironically we have less violence when we stay away from US.

Extremism exists everywhere. Pakistan is no different to other nations. Where there is a sense of poverty then the extremists pop up to take advantage. What we must understand is the steps taken to eradicate this element and i believe Pakistan is trying hard to remove this from our society.
