-North Iraq? Which part? As far as I know the Shia majority in Iraq there and majority kurds there are against Turkey
-Israeli's definitely don't feel like Turks are their friends especially when Erdogan is screaming for Israeli's everytime he sees them. Then again Erdogan was a sales man wasn't he? Israeli's definitely do not trust Turkey like they use to thats undeniable.
-I am sure a lot of Syrian Christians, Yazidi's, Shia's, Kurds do not view Turkey favourably due to the role they played (lets not get into that too much)
-USA and West are starting to see Turkey as an islamist country who is the cause of the refugee crisis which is affecting them at home. The refugee/islamist crisis has left a very poor taste in the West's mouth and we all know that. Its one thing to be bombing muslims overseas (which I am against) but its another thing for the West to have to live with the muslims in their own neighbourhoods.
-Russia and China are huge players in the game. China has great angst against Turkey as Turkey supports uighur terrorists groups in China therefore China wants to give Turkey a black eye in kind. Russia is actively militarily involved in the region and Turkey even shot down one of their jets so both nations are HUGE players in this game.

I have to say what left a bitter taste in my mouth was the AKP leaders basically taking control over the secular military and overthrowing multiple generals and leaders in the military to effectively take over control of the entire control. The AKP controls the media and your dear leader crushes anyone who dares to say anything negative about him. I wouldn't be surprised if your dear leader smashes great ataturks statue and gives himself even more power (as he already has with his 'president' position which prior to him becoming president was largely secondary to the prime minister position).
