The government of Turkey's president Recip Tayyip Erdogan could face a total ban from EU states as Denmark joined the Netherlands and Germany in turning away his ministers.

Danish prime minister Lars Lokke Rasmussen has stepped into the escalating row by announcing his government had postponed the visit of Turkish Prime Minister Yildirim.

Europeans are bluffing. Delaying a visit here and there is just a delay tactic. The Europeans are going to come running back to the negotiating table. If the Europeans were serious they would cut ties.

Turkey has the EU by its balls and that is no exaggeration. Turkey could throw the refugee deal in the trash can and walk away unharmed. Not only that, Turkey could show the Europeans a middle finger and halt refugee camps. The Europeans are providing money to build refugee camps inside Turkey. Turkey is burdened with taking care of Syrian, Afghan and other refugees fleeing towards Europe. Turkey could just open the gates and we know what would happen next.
