Turkish Peace Operations in Syria (Operation Olive Branch) Updates & Discussions

US sanctions hitting a soft spot ? I would love to see assad get the oilfields back, and push ypg, I don’t understand how assad has gained control of 70% of the country when 40-45% is in the hands of ypg according to livemap. I’m talking about Landmass.

I think they mean 70% of the country's population.

And you blame us that we arbitrarily drag the border lines. If you ask me, I would create more artificial states.

Then it is a matter of curiosity where to sell or evaluate oil.

Usa put them there to guard oil fields. Sometimes I feel like I would nuke the Usa.

I don't understand why we didn't bomb the oilfields when the US had withdrawn from the area for a short term.

I just don't understand why such a strategic location was left operable when we knew the US would take it and give it to YPG/PYD/SDF.

Can anyone give an explanation ?

Usa never left the oil fields. They raised the flag there. They emptied one base and moved some hummers afaik. Then sent more arms trucks to YPG to defend there.
