This raises question about why the Syrians do not shoot down them. (or attempt to)

They have already shown the ability to down them,the anka-S which was shot down few days ago for exemple.

First of all anka-s attack was a standalone attack
Yesterday and today attacks are coordinated and are happening 24/7 plus koral is probably engaged
It’s not simple drone attacks but mlrs heavy artillery and f-16 dropping stand-off bombs at the same time constantly

If there is a good investment that Turkish military did the last last decades then its into Drone technology, those have been a blessing in every conflict Turkey was involved in the last 10 years.
