Turkish Peace Operations in Syria (Operation Olive Branch) Updates & Discussions

The SAA would fall easily if it wasn't for the RUAF, let's be real here. Looking at the combat vids of the rebel forces and studying their gear, tactics and determination, the SAA would have no chance. The only thing keeping the SAA in Saraqib is powerful RU airstrikes that obliterate 10 houses with one bomb, therefore, there is no way the rebels can hold any town or city as long as the RU airforce reigns free.

The only way the rebels can achieve success with holding ground is by launching a massive frontal attack consisting of 5-10 thousand troops attacking positions from from Rabia to Zahraa supported with TR artillery and drone strikes. All the while use Koral to jam RU planes, and use smoke grenades in the offensive attack to hide movements from the airforce (as much as possible), and throw in a few dozen manpads into the mix and suddenly you create a uncontrollable situation for Russia.

Such a massive offensive would bring the Russians to the table real quick.

These small scale attacks on one town at a time is not going to accomplish anything.

@cabatli_53 Off topic that could go on forever.

Russia: Our Forces aren't on the ground...
Also Russia:

This is Wagner not regular Ru forces.

This is Wagner not regular Ru forces.
Wagner Commands comes from RU HQ...
Wagner isn't BLackWaters... They are not an Independent Merc company...

We need cheap bayraktar drones in action.
Yes that’s the biggest advantage Baykar TB2 offers being cheap yet very deadly for enemies
But Anka-s thanks to SATCOM support has much bigger range plus bigger payload(bombs) for assad militias
They should be afraid when AKINCI goes into service especially pkk rats they will be hunted like never before!!!

They are russian soldiers but moscow is doing old school tricks
It is known that wagner recruits people of various ethnic origin but all those who are from russian origin are either retired or off-dutty russian soldiers

The only big advantage of Russians are their airstrikes. I know that's a crucial element but dont forget that these little towns around Idlib are in the range of heavy artillery precision strikes. So regime assets wont make a chance either or they will be sended directly to hell.

Turkey needs to bring the F16’s into Syria....their mere presence will give Russia something to think about.

This whole shit show started when bashar started killing his own people.

Bashar the idiot could have resigned and allowed elections instead drew first blood.

Now look at it Syria is a dead country partitioned by many countries along with millions dead and a refugee crisis.

Its a shark eat shark world when countries like the USA, Turkey, Iran and Russia descended upon Syria all for their geopolitical struggles.

Middle East is what is today due to these reasons. Nobody is straight everybody is out there for their piece of cake.

Everything from the the start of this civil war to the end has been foretold in ahadith and in the narrations by Awliya Allah ....and this civil war will continue for 12yrs.

Important day for Turkey and Allies in the battle for Idlib today!

  1. Several villages (at least 4) were liberated around Saraqib. Saraqib is now besieged from south and west.
  2. Several Tanks, ATGMs, BMP etc. captured
  3. The siege on two Turkish oberservation post were lifted around Saraqib
  4. the M5 is cut again, delivering a huge blow to the regime.
Bad news
  1. Regime captured several villages in the southern Idlib.
  2. An Anka-S was shot down.

PS. Sad to see such a beautiful beast on the ground..

Interestingly, the Anka-S drone seems to be armed!

Is Turkey conducting pinpoint airstrikes against Assad and Russian mercenaries?

They are doing it for a long time but because targets are irgc and due to iranian-turkish relations these ops are regarded as black ops

Turkey would need to bring lots of F-16s
russian airstrikes are done by SU-24 which are of course easy target for downing but these jets are escorted by several SU-30 so if 8-10 F-16s are involved then we can say Turkey will have air superiority 2-4 F-16s won’t make the difference TAF should be ready to commit at least medium number of jets if they want to deny airspace to russians

And you guys here are even believing yourself that Erdogan cares for these Syrian refugees, that he's crying at his home. Yet he prolonged the war, low-intensity conflict for nearly a decade with his semi-covert low-support to opposition strategies.

You're not the savior of Syrians, you're just another player in the proxy war. This is the part you seem to not get or you want to believe that you're good. It's no longer Sunni vs Alawite, that was the story upheld back in the early 2010's. No one gives a sh about the sects these days which is why you never hear the opposition rant about the Alawites anymore.

We have mod cabatli here banning people praising himself as the savior of Syrians living in his own bubble, no monkey is going to fall for that except some Syrians whom happen to have no choice. Same story in Libya, Tayyip is going to **** himself, he already has.
so you are a shia.

After the last 100 warnings the next „last“ warning will come.
Shameful what this Politicans are doing to the name of TSK.

Rag tag militias are targeting your soldiers but all you do is raising the finger and bark around...

What is stopping them from using F16s to establish air superiority and closing their airspace to Russia?
