You'll have to upgrade it beyond Tranche 2 Block 15 to carry Meteor.

As for the "superior AESA Radar",both Captor and RBE2 have more or less the same era of development.
Also,you might probably don't know this,but both aircraft were developed during the same time. As France was part of the consortium that was going to develop Eurofighter and later left.

@BON PLAN and @Vergennes will probably laugh with your claims. Saying "the old Rafale",discredits your posts even more. The more you underestimate it,the more of a fool you are making yourself. Especially when you call the Rafale "old",but cheer for the Eurofighter. The two aircraft have a difference of 2-3 years in first flight and introduction.

Meteor : so is Rafale, with a smaller RCS...
Better AESA radar ? The Rafale one has 10 years of refinement behind it, and 25 considering the PESA one (with some softwares used in the AESA), when the EF2000 one is just born, probably with only limited air to air mode and no database.
Helmet? The french rafale don't have it because it was a financial choice. Qatar ones are fitted with... That means every Rafale can have it if needed.
