This whole ''milli'' fetish we people have isn't good. Would you rather drop a KGK/HGK when you can drop a much cheaper bought bomb?

I agree, partly. But our companies should sell more to the TSK so they can have a strong hand at the international defence fairs, beside this RD programs require lots of money. Sell more, invest more, develope more, sell much more... That's a chain.

Imo our companies should not just wait on orders from TSK but show some initiative and try to become players in the general market. Innovation is key.

Imo our companies should not just wait on orders from TSK but show some initiative and try to become players in the general market. Innovation is key.

They wont wait for sure but TSK is a great referance point as a big Nato member military. Defence firms which sell their weapons to their countries' army always have upper hands. Think bout it. You have missiles but you can't sell even to your military, it's a negative point from the starting.

That is good, and I think Turkey deserves to lead at least the Sunni part of the Muslim world. A greater Turkish role in the Muslim world is good for the Muslim world and the civilized world.

What do you think about developing a supersonic and hypersonic land attack cruise missile and surface to surface missile in anti shipping role? Is there any project from your defense industry in this area?

Nothing that is public. But we do know that RAMJET engine is being developed.

The aim of the project was the design and production of RAMJET type ceramic engine (with liquid fuel) especially used in guided missiles. RAMJET type ceramic rocket prototype has been designed, produced and tested at low test speeds in laboratory conditions. Further improvements on the engine are scheduled to be realized in the future.
