I knew" this is not howitser, this rifled tank gun or somthing like that", thats why I had said " anyway its enough for me".

I have... and I've got a headache... I need to sleep

you can't really give up on 155mm.. you lose too much kinetic energy

all of these the benefits of 105mm stated above... are very situational
I mean is it okay to lose some range? sometimes it is, sometimes it isn't
is 105mm enough? depends on the target.. battlefield fortifications? armor? buildings? dunno

no caliber will ever be perfect for everything
but they had to standardize something so they standardized 155mm
even russians are mainly building 155mm artillery these days
See the Denel 105mm L/52 LEO. That outperforms the 2S1 Gvodzika. It gets 24 km normal rounds (versus 15km) , 32 km (20 mi) with base bleed projectiles (versus 22km). Range, accuracy and lethality similar or better than 155mm 39-calibre...

Hi im new here i folow this forum For à long time, i had à question.. do we have fuel baggers like these in THE link below
This could be realy Handy for every army in THE world..
i have never seen anything like this.. good one bro.. ;)

Do modern armies need BMP turret and other antitank guns nowadays? I'm in love with 57-76-105mm anti tank turrets but 1 javelin or OMTAS better than all kind of direct fire.

Maybe only effective that indirect fire howitsers and mortars.

sounds like sorcery to me

Boat tail, base bleed and VLAP rounds (i.e. with new munition, which complements existing 105mm ammo)
Modular charge system (MCS) like the 155mm MACS,
Based upon proven production South African 155mm MCS (new charge system i.e. better propellant, higher pressure)
52 Caliber with 5 Caliber Muzzle Brake (i.e. with longer barrel, recoil management)

Don't forget South Africa was among the first with long range 155mm systems (GC-45, courtesy the late Dr. Gerald Bull)
