Thanks for the clarifications!!! The Turkish political landscape is such that Erdo'an doesn't have absolute power for he basically runs a coalition of conservative folks (>50% of voters), including ultra nationalists. And, the local government elections are nearby. He can't afford to generate some noise pertaining to sensitive internal matters of Pak, and that too corruption related!!!! And, the defense minister is ex-CJCS, and very sensitive to the matters of the state, especially when very important external military engagements are about to be put into motion. He is expected to be last person to lobby for Sherif brothers as some posters have suggested....
