Turkish Defence Industry Exports & Updates

. .
what a bull shit article, PD170 is very indigenous design and nothing with GE and ivechenko. it is piston engine.

Turkey asked ukraine to sell turbine blades but ukraine rejected. if the article is true they had offered %50 partnership for TS1400, and Turkey rejected this offer.

roketsan will purchase liquid rocket motor from ukraine and baykar will produce turboprop with them rest is bullshit

so what is about to Ukraine here? totally bullshit, they try to advertise theirselves on Turkish products, overall Turkish industry is far ahead of Ukraine, if the final TS1400 is better than ukraine engines i wouldnt be surprised.
In defense of the article, it says that the information is based on a leaked document.

The information provided in the leaked document could be true, because it talks about the negotiation process between Turkey and Ukraine, mind you the document is dated 2016. It's plausible to be true but could also not be, which the article also claims. It also says that the deal with Ivchenko eventually didn't got through so this means that TEI made TS1400 on its own (at least without the help of Ivchenko in the form of what the leaked document claims).

The document is here. Nordic Monitor website was launched by FETO Member Abdullah Bozkurt. It is clear that the document was seized in 2015-2016 when FETÖ was still active in the army. In addition, just by looking at this document, we can say that even the PD-170 and the TS-1400 are completely a product of TEI. Previously, TEİ General Manager stated that the team that developed the TS-1400 was composed of experienced Turkish engineers who worked in this field from abroad.

Thanks for shedding light on this. Didn't know nordic monitor was involved otherwise I wouldn't have even clicked on the link.

Globaldefensecorp.com plagiarized the article from nordic monitor, 6'th paragraph and onward is copy/pasted. This explains the inconsistencies between these parts in which the article made common mistakes like PD-170 being GE and confusing TS1400 with LHTECH (the level difference in writing and research). When I first read it on Globaldefense corp, it did make me wonder if they had a Turkish member on their team. But now I understand why this was, they just plagiarized it.

Within the scope of the military cooperation agreement between the two countries, Djibouti's Hızır armored vehicles were sent.

cant be true because S400 were given with an end user agreement, without russian approval Turkey cant hand over even user manual of it.
