The parts of Mildar is imported, with GaN it will be really yerli:-). And with GaN you can make stronger and efficient radar. It will be lighter to.

Im not an expert but GaN based radars doesnt contain rotating parts like old ones.So Mogan will be AESA radar am i right?

That i don't now, but why should they make it AESA? They are gonna hunt tanks or vehicle. You don't need that strong radar.

Gan based radars are very strong against Electronic Attack, may be thats why they choose it as Turkey will be the first one to have it and might be huge news for export..

Ukraine Launches Serial Production of New Weapons for Turkey

Ukraine is launching a serial production of Zaslon and Shershen active protection systems for armored vehicles, which will be supplied to Turkey. At present, the systems are at the final stage of launching into batch production at SJSHC Artem facilities. A technological line is being established at the plant.

The modules will be assembled at Artem capacities, while all electronics will be installed by SE Mikrotek.

As UNIAN reported earlier, after the Turkish government recently put out an urgent request for 120 complete active protection systems to go on M60A3, M60T, and Leopard 2A4 tanks, Turkish defense contractor Aselsan obtained a license from Ukraine's Microtek to produce a version of their Zaslon-L system, which it calls the Akkor Pulat.

Wouldn't BMC need to have pretty advanced optical tech knowledge in order to produce effective laser weapons? Afaik, they have none. I hope they will cooperate with Aselsan instead of importing optics.
