Turkey vs. Iran: The Battle for Influence

Cyrus the great who created the persian empire 600BCE was an aryan persian, before him there were the medes and before then the Elamit kingdom (3000BCE), dont try and go head to head with me on Iran history cause i will wipe the floor with you.

so where are these 3000 year old azeri? if your IQ is so low, then try not to talk so much BS because your only embarrassing yourself.

You are very delusional my friend. Your great "civilisation" were almost completely exterminated by the Mongols, you got raped by the Greeks, by Alexander, by the Arabs etc. Persians have been famous for losing battles and getting conquered by foreigners.

ayyyyyy
what a stupid thread. No offense OP but I don't like this thread. Both countries have different types of influence in the Arab world. We have complete control over Iraq, Lebanon and shias around the region while the Turks have the respect of sunnis, gulfies etc... Both countries are taking advantage of the arab world. Both Iran and Turkey, for example, have HUGE trade surpluses with Iraq. At the same time we're controlling the politics of that country.

Both iran and Turkey are happy. Turkey will never be able to take Iran's role in Lebanon and Iraq and Iran will never be able to tale Turkey's role in the sunni arab world. Who ******* cares who has more influence? All that matters is that both countries are getting what they want.

why start a Turk vs Iran fight here?

And lol @ the arabs on this thread who are taking sides. Einsteins, both Iran and Turkey are bleeding you dry. Time to stand up on your own legs (I'm talking to you Bozo).

Can anyone clarify me what are the issues between Turkey and Iran. As far I know Iran has issues only with US and Saudi Arabia and for Turkey, it is with Cyprus and Iraqi Kurdistan. Even Azerbaijan people similar to Iranians have good relation with Turkey.

no major issues
mostly historical dick measuring contests between the people.

. .
Pathetic thread.
Even a blind man should be able to see that both countries benefit a lot from being allies instead of the bigger player in the region.

And sometimes I think that Pakistan--which has strong Arab, Turkish, and Iranian roots--should become powerful enough to bring these three ethnic-based entities together and make them see the larger picture. Otherwise these countries/regions will continue to reap short-term benefits at the expense of each other by fulfilling others' regional goals but will not truly see their respective great potentials.

Persian Arab Turk fighting each other all are idiots !! Their intra-clash caused more harm to Islamic world than Zionists ! Bunch of self-centered people!! I wonder how MUHAMMAD (pbuh) and his companions managed to unite them !!!!!!!!!!!!! I had to change my signature after opening this thread!!! :hitwall:

.
cool it ^^^
outside the cyber space, Iranians and Turks are pretty friendly with each other. We have no problems. Both are super nationalistic countries so on the internet you will often find Iranians and Turks engaged in dick measuring contests.

So let me get this straight. If Iranians will give up Islam, revert back to Zoroastrianism and start worshipping fire they will no longer be backwards, and all of sudden be the strongest civilization on Earth?

:disagree:
they dont worship fire, they face towards light when they are praying.

. .
Persian, what is the point of this thread
There was many people interested in it in some other forum, i had no idea these terrorists would find it so offensive.

I think Turkish govt. not neither a 'puppet' of America but nor does it stand up enough to backup public rhetoric. There is a fine balancing act done by them trying to keep up with regional Muslim/Arab expectations (which finds strong public support inside Turkey as well) by appearing anti-Israel; at the same time knowing American-backed West's importance in Turkey's strength and growth. The participation in the missile-shield came after much delay and Turkey must have extracted a price from NATO for that. And I think there is nothing wrong with Turkey keeping this seemingly 'double-faced' stand. There is no need for Turkey to flame-bait beyond they have already done. There is a time for everything.
Like I said above, Pakistan, even though a South Asian country, has strong Arab, Turkish, and Iranian heritage--also Pakistan is not necessarily too much into this Shia-Sunni crap (Shia have held and continue to hold top-most govt. positions in Pakistan) and so I hope one day Pakistan can bring these parties into some understanding.

PS. @Persian: You are bordering big insult on all Pakistanis if you calling all Pakistanis as 'terrorists'? Is that right?

Dude I've read chronicles of the Arab conquest, you used to worship fire in temples while doing some kind of vulu dance.

Zoroastrianism is dead, get used to it.
