Turkey strikes targets in both Syria and Iraq against PKK and ISIS simultaneously

Turkeys biggest enemy since decades is pkk and it will do whatever it takes to stop pkk terrorism whether you guys like it or not.
You only hear about isis terrorism while dont even consider pkk terrorism, they broke the cease fire several times in past months, they killed police just because isis attacked them.
Now Turkey is attacking booth isis and pkk what else do you want?

Calm down buddy, I have no problem with bombing pkk, it was all about ISIS.

And btw, Turkey opening Incirlik AB for US aircrafts will do much more against isis than Iranian proxy cannon fodders thats for sure.

Those 'cannon fodders' are the ones killing the most from Daesh and liberating areas in Iraq. Bombing from the air doesn't solve anything, if it was, Daesh would have been defeated by U.S after a year of bombing, or Al-Qaeda would have been defeated.

Bombing from the air doing all the job. YPG, SAA and Kataib Hezbollah monkeys are only walking in after IS retreat due to bombings.

Lol yep , ask yourself why Kobane wasn't captured by ISIS

US is barely even bombing ISIS in other areas , they only stepped up with major sorties during Kobane

Yes I agree, for Kurds, U.S had unprecedented airstrikes. But you can't say the same for areas like Anbar province in Iraq or Homs and Deir al-Zoor in Syria. The ones who are killing most of ISIS are SAA and PMF in Iraq.

The only monkeys I'm aware of are ISIS and IDF soldiers who kill kids and women,no offense, but you won't get a flower for saying something like that. U.S hasn't done anything for SAA or Kataib Hezbollah, they mostly support Kurds. Even if they have done something, it didn't have any effect on the outcome. The capture of Ramadi by ISIS shows it best, where U.S didn't do anything to stop miles-long ISIS convoys coming to cities.

Says barrel bomber, gasser and starver of kids.

Kataib Hezbollah could not advance even at outskirts of Tikrit after losing over 1000. All they achieved is ethnic cleansing of the town. Then they begged for CC bombings and captured the city.

The capture of Ramadi by ISIS shows it best, where U.S didn't do anything to stop miles-long ISIS convoys coming to cities
U prove my point: Ramadi there was no CC bombers and thousands Hezbollah with Abrams tanks fled leaving boots from several hundred IS monkeys with rusty AK.

P.S. And plz spare us of silly excuse that so called Iraqi army is any different from Kataib Hezbollah:

you are missing the point , the number of sorties in other areas is incredibly low compared to Kobane , so you can't say they don't work when they clearly did in Kobane

and can't be compared to other areas since US barely strikes any other targets in other areas

This stuff reminds me of the Afghan-Pakistan situation.

Pakistani ISI initially played this game for a few years after the invasion of Afghanistan by USA but later on the Americans understood the game, stepped up pressure and Pak Military succumbed to their pressure so much so that they allowed droning of their own land which led to thousands of Pakistani civilians' death, gradually the entire country of Pakistan has been weakened and destabilized.

They could be setting up a trap for Turkey, I'm not saying it will happen but just think of this - NATO country bombs a NATO backed Kurds that sees them far more threat than ISIS where they stood in their borders for two years with no tone, that speaks the volume here so it is obvious Turkey was pressured by the US to get involved in the war.

Then you have ISIS who threatened Turkey if they ever attacked them so dealing with Kurds inside the mainland and outside the mainland and ISIS at the same time is a very ugly combination.

The only wise solution in this confusing situation is not to attack IS and not allow US army/AF use Turkish military facilities at any cost. There is a glaring example of what this may lead to in Pakistan, for the life of me I don't want that to happen to Turkey. It will be immensely foolish for Turkey to allow the Americans in.

As of now, IS is not an enemy of Turkey. Rather IS and Turkey have common interest in finishing off the kurds.

and then YPG preparing its war against Turkey, don't tell me that US didn't know that supporting and strengthening YPG instead training FSA would lead YPG/PKK into war with Turkey. YPG\PKK used the war with ISIS to prepare themselves against Turkey. why these US bombers are so ignorant? why they don't really care about their ally specially if its a Muslim majority country.

What is happening with Turkey is Deja vu for Pakistanis.. we paid the huge price of allying with USA and that is why we are now more committed with our relations with China.

just don't judge Turkey real purpose by now .... wait and 2 weeks later you can see their true purpose ...

It is a dangerous game Erdogan is playing to gather votes: Turkey - from reluctant observer to full player in IS fight - BBC News

In long term, it will damage the Turkish prospect for a peace with Kurds.

Turks had already been warned by both Iran and Pakistan: Pakistan warns Turkey: Don’t make our mistakes

They thought they could export ther ''revolution' to Turkey, they thought it was as easy as in Syria and Iraq where US bombed their enemies and paved their way to capture land and displace locals.

There is a German saying ''those who fly high fall deeper'' they havent seen anything yet.

Finaly the goverment woke up from its deep sleep where they were dreaming about a lalaland.

lol, @ that video. so wrong. that's a JDAM strike against Tali rats in Afghanistan years ago

I hope Turkey is ready for the consequences of targeting not only the PKK but always ISIS, unless the attack on ISIS was just a false flag to start bombing the PKK.

I would think IS wouldn't care if you killed a few of it's fighters to have you dislodge the PKK from Northern Iraq and Syria.

.
The air raids in Syria will most likely result in a civil war in Turkey as it will not go well with the turkish population which mostly supports Isis and the Kurdish minority, with casualties that will make Syria look like a picnic

Under article 4 of the Treaty, any Ally can request consultations whenever, in the opinion of any of them, their territorial integrity, political independence or security is threatened.

Turkey requested the meeting in view of the seriousness of the situation after the heinous terrorist attacks in recent days, and also to inform Allies of the measures it is taking. NATO Allies follow developments very closely and stand in solidarity with Turkey.
