The Turkish Company ASELSAN has completed the integration of PULAT Active Protection System into M60T main battle tanks. The tank, fitted with the PULAT APS, was presented during the IDEF 2019 Fair.

ASELSAN has also been developing the AKKOR active protection system for ALTAY main battle tanks. The system is currently undergoing field tests and will be delivered to the Turkish Armed Forces along with mass production ALTAY main battle tanks.

. .
With famous rival companies I think they just sell that to Qatar

. . . . .
Turkey proposes two operational APS to markets. Pulat and Akkor. The Akkor is one of the best offering impressive detection range, reaction time and munition based additional sensor capability and Altay receives the Akkor, While upgraded tanks like M-60TM are modified with Pulat system. It is proved in trials that Pulat is able to stop all Konkur, Tow, Kornet, RPG ATGM. Akkor is secret !

offer to usa

Any chance against javelin
only israel is combat proven and usa buy from us

Turks say yes but it's wishful thinking in my opinion. The radar would have to be facing upwards and still that would be an awkward position for the APS to intercept at and could still have a chance of penetration if the projectile survives a hit.

lol if qatar could she will prefer israel quilty
What you don't get is that Israel and the Arab and Muslims states don't have good relations. If they did I would be more than happy for cooperation in defense, and imports from Israel. Israel offers very good defense products that can exceed the performance of many counterparts.

:cheers::cheers:

offer to usa

It will be a chilly day in hell when we see the US buy any military equipment from Turkey...

The US can develop systems such as Quick Kill and more advanced systems will also be made. Israeli systems such as Trophy shoot out a shotgun blast which can be dangerous for ground troops due to shrapnel compared to systems that shoot out individual missiles.

Also, the US has bought a small amount of Israeli APS as an interim solution until a contest is done from multiple companies for a better solution.

Have you ever seen the Quick Kill demonstration? It will kill anything within its radius

I was giving an example as other companies in the US are developing systems that we may or may not know about that don't have the same effect. What I was trying to say is that the US is fully capable of making its own APS and will in the future make an advanced APS that can match or exceed the performance of the Israeli APSs and it will equip future army vehicles that will replace the M2 Bradley and M1 Abram (2030-2040).

Do you know when the Merkava 4 will be phased out and if it will be phased out anytime soon?
