Featured Turkey reconverts Istanbul's Hagia Sophia museum into a mosque

Old Ottoman tradition....as if this guy conquered the city...

The whole Hagia Sofia saga is nothing but a stupid sh*t show for the brainless masses and a way to take their attention away from the real problems the country is facing. At the same time Erdo uses it for dividing people and getting a few more votes + hardening his voting block etc.

Just another straw in the ocean that the drowning man holds on trying to save his life.

Fulfilling a dream of his Islamic-oriented youth, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan joined thousands of worshippers on Friday for the first Muslim prayers in 86 years inside Hagia Sophia, the Istanbul landmark that served as one of Christendom's most significant cathedrals, a mosque and a museum before its conversion back into a Muslim place of worship.

The prayers began with Erdogan reciting from the Holy Quran. The head of Turkey's religious authority, Ali Erbas, led the ceremony and prayed that Muslims would never again be denied the right to worship at the internationally celebrated 6th-century structure.

As many as 350,000 people took part in Friday's prayers, the president said.

Ataturk is probably turning in his grave.
They were trying to keep it as a mosque as well but since the Republic was still very young and poweless back then they had to turn it to a museum to prevent it becoming a church thanks to the international pressure. So i think the word your looking for is actully proud...

This stupid Corona virus lock down.
I am so happy and excited about Turkey reopening Aya Sofia for Namaaz that i had flown to Turkey for today's Friday prayers.
But this is now on my priority list.

Let’s ask those all around Twitter and Turkish internet who have been freely cursing at him for weeks now or we can ask Ali Erbas... What do they think- is he proud or turning in his grave.

Twitter is the shittiest place I've ever seen... It's basically a warzone between liberal lgbt dumbasses and political islamist terrorists. It's a shame that our mainstream media is even worse than some teenager bois on Twitter that we are obliged to follow worldwide news unfortunately on there.
