Except for the F-35 program, there's not much US can do. Oh and their last "sanction and embargo" was after Cyprus intervention which led to the rebirth of Turkey's defence Industry Dependency on the US is decreasing gradually and within 5 years it will reach the lowest point. Economically Turkey is more aligned with European nations rather than with Americans.

lol, Stoltenberg said Turkey was free to buy any defense system she deemed necessary to safeguard her airspace. That includes S400. So this is the US rattling with their sabers, and true they can come up with a bunch of reasons to bar Turkey from the F35 JSF, since it's a US project.

Honestly, Turkey has been under some sort of sanction or other for decades now because of anti Turkish lobbies in the US. So what?!
Turkey might benefit initially through servicing the engines but then look at the hysteria in the British media about "security threats" when that was found out. You can see whats going to happen, EU govs will say there is public pressure so they need to use Norwegian and Dutch facilities to service their engines instead.
If the US do decide to sanction Turkey it will be their loss. A number of Turkish companies are involved in manufacturing parts for the F35. They have the production capabilities, and the knowledge to service the engines. The billions saved can be used towards buying more TFX jets or even towards future generations of the TFX.

The truth is

Russia is willing to sell S-400 to India only if India would buy FGFA too.

US is not willing to sell F-35 to India until India cancels the FGFA deal with Russia.

Modi has decided to cancel FGFA deal with Russia to procure F-16+F-35 from US. This means Russia would no longer be selling S-400 to India.

So there is no question of sanctions on India.
