What makes you think I like or want America in the region, i'm not the one that supported the overthrowing of Saddam. I enjoyed his trashing of American client state Kuwait in 1990. Qatar is another American client state that Turkey shouldn't be supporting. Al Udeid airbase has B-52's and B-1 bombers, since when do these belongs in the middle east. All of that shit needs to be thrown out, what's even more ironic is Iranians defending Qatar's regime. Because it's very good for Iran that America has strategic bombers stationed near them..

Strategic bombers are very long-range heavy assets, only Qatar hosts those jets in the region. Apart from that there are several other problematic entities such as Bahrain (The regional HQ for the US navyies 5th fleet), Kuwait a large US army base and UAE as well hosting a base for the USAF air superiority fighters.

Those small entities host those bases to guarantee their own safety. I'm not aware of US bases in Saudi, I thought they left years ago. Why I didn't mention Kuwait etc. in my previous post? because the post is directed towards Turkish FP and Turkey doesn't support Kuwait or the UAE at the level it supports Qatar.

The thing is you was against overthrowing of Saddam but the same KSA and the rest of the gulfies was against Saddam. So why are you complaining about Qatar, because of working together with Turkey?
