under a 'one state solution' all the palestinians in the occupied territories would become citizens of a binational israel-palestine state. many studies show that already the palestinians in that region (which would become the new state) outnumber the jews. therefore, under a democratic binational state, the logic goes that the palestinians would take over and israel would lose their jewish state.

israel can either be democratic or jewish, it cannot be both.

No Muhammad is an Arabic name and in the law they passed they said the only language acceptable in Israel is Hebrew. Before this Arabic was a recognized language in Israel but not anymore.
