Because it voted against US decision

CAIRO - Algeria's vote on the UN Security Council against America's decision to recognise Jerusalem as the capital of Israel has "pushed" President Donald Trump into "suspending" military and humanitarian aid and aid to civil society to the tune of 17 million dollars a year, Algerian daily "Echorouk El Yawmi" writes in an editorial published on its website on Thursday. "The United States' position towards Algeria after voting on the UN Security Council against the decision of Donald Trump has put an end to security cooperation between the two countries," echoroukonline.com writes. This cooperation "has always been among the most important and notable dossiers open between Algeria and Washington since the 1990s," the paper adds. "The United States always gave an estimated 1.4 million dollars of aid to Algeria within the framework of security cooperation.

However, Algeria's vote against Trump's decision has pushed the number 1 at the White House into suspending this financial aid," it continues. Echorouk reports that support to "other sectors including 12 million dollars in humanitarian aid and 4 million" in support to civil society has also been suspended

Strange that the military regime ruling Algeria received/receives military aid from the US of all countries when Algeria (the regime in power) is firmly allied with Russia.

Probably some kind of bribe in order to prevent a repeat of the bloody civil war

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Algerian_Civil_War

in the 1990's and refugees from crossing into Europe although the main route is Libya and to a smaller extent Morocco and Tunisia.

It seems that Algerian border guards have this problem under control.

Not a way to treat the stateless Toureg relatives of @Ceylal and his imaginary and "mighty" stateless Berberians. The Algerian army should do the same with troublemakers in tiny Kabyle. They have a long and proud history of doing so. Wild carnivores the likes of Ceylal must be kept firmly under control and with locks around their necks, hands and feet. If the Arabs of Algeria need any assistance we are here to help our brothers and sisters out to tame the carnivores.

Hahahahaha welcome back you are at it again with the stateless members like surenas the kurdi and ceylal the barbarian(like Conan the barbarian)

It's also strange since Algeria is rich with natural resources and not like Pakistan,Egypt or Jordan yet they receive foreign aid:lol:

The Algerian regime is the most incompetent Arab regime out there considering the size, population, geography, natural riches and potential of Algeria. It's in fact a crime. However the regime is doing a good job at brainwashing their population. Much of the Algerian diaspora in the West (France mainly) are Berbers and many of them are radical phantasts who want their own country and to erase everything that is remotely related to Islam and Arabs. Of course a futile and impossible task that the vast majority will never even entertain the thought of. Never met such deluded people in my entire life. Surprisingly they are probably the most disliked community in France as well. Never heard a single positive word about them.

Anyway Ceylal is banned for the 1001th time but he needs to be tamed occasionally as he is a wild carnivore. You can only tame him to an extent and when the word "Egypt" is mentioned he rages uncontrollably. Surprisingly he has been rather tamed in relation to KSA. Must be the reforms or him seeing his empty old propaganda not working. Not sure what it is.

Fun aside;

Truly a disgusting regime that is not even able to serve its own people.

Most similar to the Al-Assad regime (pre Syrian civil war) in the entire Arab world, IMO. No surprise that they are a traditional Russian/USSR ally either.

One thing is to be a totalitarian regime (like most regimes in the region) another even worse thing is to be unable to serve your people despite everything that you have been given by God and nature.

Also don't forget that Algeria was a part of France from 1830 until the indolence in 1962. It was the most developed French colony as well. Much of the architecture in Algiers and other Algerian cities were built by France. While many other Arab countries started from scratch. Look at them now.

Or take a look at science and education in Algeria. 40 million people and they are less productive than 2-2.5 million big (natives) UAE. Such a shame and crime. Not even talking about the huge Algerian diaspora in France (many positives could have come out of this but alas) or the fact that most Algerians are able to speak French as well and are thus well-connected to European affairs and know European societies (Western) well in comparison to many other Arabs.

For instance neighboring Morocco and Tunisia are lightyears ahead of Algeria on most fronts while that should not have been the case given population, size, resources and potential.

BTW to make a comparison with 40 million big Iraq (war-torn country for 3 decades in a row nothing in the world comes close maybe with the exception of Afghanistan and Somalia), Iraqis are having a higher living standard than the average Algerian and the Iraqi government is also much more competent despite significant faults of its own. Just to put it into perspective. Not even talking about Daesh here or the Kurdish question.

Shithole regime is no understatement. Best manifested with a president that has been a living dead for years and sits in a wheelchair 24/7.

(Not his child as he is childless)

@SALMAN F

Do you remember that imaginary map that even covered parts of KSA? The Barbarian map?

$17m a year. Don't think there will be any sleepless nights in Algiers for such a miniscule figure.

. .
I think Trump is trying to make a point that if you want aid vote for Jerusalem.

No doubt. However he is only losing potential allies in the process. Russia or China will easily meet the US aid to Algeria and even add to it.

Algeria is in no need of Aid from any country. But Trump is hurting American interests.

It is a symbolic aid.. but it reflects the fact that there were some relations and cooperation between the US and Algeria..and that might not continue either.. it is not really fair to cut a symbolic or in fact any aid to friends or allies simply because they don't agree with you on some issues.. very strange move.. but can be expected from a high school bully..

.
But it's a good move from the american political hypocracy because they claim that they are defending human rights and the algerian regime is one of the worst violators of human rights

The news says for Jerusalem don't try to troll. Israel is the worst human rights violation country of all

he just find accuse for cutting aids to countries.

Not sure about excuses. He does not really need an excuse.

It's bad business for the US to give free aid to Algeria when it is ruled by a military regime that is 100% in the Russian camp. It's like throwing US taxpayers money in a bin. I understand the decision, especially as the US and its allies have a heavy presence in the neighborhood.

People on PDF will obviously look at this as "US losing influence in Algeria" (especially after Trumps recent comments about Pakistan) but that influence was non-existent to begin with.

But it's a good move from the american political hypocracy because they claim that they are defending human rights and the algerian regime is one of the worst violators of human rights

Well, no regime is innocent in the region. Look no further than the US darling in the region (Israel). If we are talking about land theft, illegal settlements and the closest thing to an apartheid system/society, Israel is the best candidate.

Anyway the pathetically incompetent Algerian military regime aside, I of course will always wish the best for our brothers and sisters in Algeria and hopefully things will improve because this is much needed. The Berbers are also our brothers and sisters and a related people on most fronts (genetically as well since they were originally migrants from the Arab Near East before historical records existed as proven by DNA - hence the Berber language belonging to the same language family) but bipolar trolls like Dumblal and his likes (radical Kabyle Berbers based in the diaspora like him) are poison by large.

My favorite quote of his:

Admit what? How can you hate somebody that you don't even freaking know? And Can you say that I hate arabs, when we share blood and culture... For a supposed learned individual, you are really lacking in social skills. Sometimes, you act like an imbecile..and you are showing it here...

Anyway just a single visit to any Arab forum or even social media like Youtube, will quickly show the warm ties and mutual respect between Saudi Arabians and Algerians.

Just make a search about videos on Youtube related to KSA and Algeria and almost every single comment from Saudi Arabians and Algerians alike are brotherly.

A few examples:

10 + million Banu Hilal members in Algeria alone:

Imagine how incredibly insignificant that troll is in the wider picture.

100's of such comments everywhere under most videos that have something to do with KSA. I will tell you another thing based on personal interaction with dozens upon dozens of Algerians in France and Europe as well as the GCC. Algerians resemble us a lot and vice versa on various fields. In particular the sharp distinction between city, mountain and desert dwellers. Same story with Morocco.

That is why this idiot is just one single idiot with a unhealthy obsession and giant inferiority complex. A mentally ill person. That's why I have never resorted to insulting Algeria or Algerians despite him insulting every single Arab country from his neighbors to far away Arab countries. What matters here is that there is no hatred or hostility between the average Saudi Arabian and Algerian (not even close and rather the opposite) and that will never happen either.

Lastly check out this cool video of a Saudi Arabian tourist visiting Algeria and the comments from our dear Algerian brothers and sisters:

Dumbyal's personality disorder probably just exploded!

Many Adnanites settled in Algeria including Quraysh and 5 clans of Ghatafan so the close resemblance is not surprising.

Haplogroup J and E1b1b are the most frequent Y-DNA haplogroups in the Arab world. E1b1b is the most frequent paternal clade among the populations in the western part of the Arab world (Maghreb, Nile Valley and Horn of Africa), whereas haplogroup J is the most frequent paternal clade toward the east (Arabian peninsula and Near East). Other less common haplogroups are R1a, R1b, G, I, L and T.[334][335][336][337][338][339][340][341][342][343][344][345][346]

Listed here are the human Y-chromosome DNA haplogroups in Arabian peninsula, Mashriq/Levant, Maghreb and Nile Valley.[347][348][349][350][351][352][353] Yemeni Arabs J(82.3%), E1b1b (12.9%) and E1b1a (3.2%).[354][355] Saudi Arabs J1 (58%), E1b1b(7.6%), E1b1a (7.6%), R1a (5.1%), T (5.1%), G (3.2%) and L (1.9%).[356][357] Emirati Arabs J (45.1%), E1b1b (11.6%), R1a (7.3%), E1b1a (5.5%), T(4.9%), R1b (4.3%) and L (3%).[354] Omani Arabs J (47.9%), E1b1b (15.7%), R1a (9.1%), T (8.3%), E1b1a (7.4%), R1b (1.7%), G (1.7%) and L (0.8%).[358] Qatari Arabs J (66.7%), R1a (6.9%), E1b1b (5.6%), E1b1a (2.8%), G (2.8%) and L (2.8%).[359][360] Lebanese Arabs J (45.2%), E1b1b (25.8%), R1a (9.7%), R1b (6.4%), G, I and I (3.2%), (3.2%), (3.2%).[361] Syrian Arabs J (58.3%),[362][363] E1b1b (12.0%), I(5.0%), R1a (10.0%) and R1b 15.0%.[361][363] Palestinian Arabs J (55.2%), E1b1b (20.3%), R1b (8.4%), I(6.3%), G (7%), R1a and T (1.4%), (1.4%).[364][365] Jordanian Arabs J (43.8%), E1b1b (26%), R1b (17.8%), G (4.1%), I (3.4%) and R1a (1.4%).[366] Iraqi Arabs J (50.6%), E1b1b (10.8%), R1b (10.8%), R1a (6.9%) and T (5.9%).[367][368] Egyptian Arabs E1b1b (36.7%) and J (32%), G (8.8%), T (8.2% R1b (4.1%), E1b1a (2.8%) and I(0.7%).[349][369] Sudanese Arabs J (47.1%), E1b1b (16.3%), R1b (15.7%) and I(3.13%).[370][371] Moroccan Arabs E1b1b (75.5%) and J1 (20.4%).[372][373] Tunisian ArabsE1b1b(49.3%), J1 (35.8%), R1b (6.8%) and E1b1a (1.4%).[374] Algerian Arabs E1b1b (54%), J1 (35%), R1b(13%).[374] Libyan Arabs E1b1b (35.88%), J (30.53%), E1b1a (8.78%), G (4.20%), R1a/R1b (3.43%) and E (1.53%).[375][376]

The mtDNA haplogroup J has been observed at notable frequencies among overall populations in the Arab world.[377] The maternal clade R0 reaches its highest frequency in the Arabian peninsula,[378] while K and T(specifically subclade T2) is more common in the Levant.[377] In the Nile Valley and Horn of Africa, haplogroups N1and M1;[378] in the Maghreb, haplogroups H1 and U6 are more significant.[379]

There are four principal West Eurasian autosomal DNA components that characterize the populations in the Arab world: the Arabian, Levantine, Coptic and Maghrebi components.

The Arabian component is the main autosomal element in the Persian Gulf region. It is most closely associated with local Arabic-speaking populations.[352] The Arabian component is also found at significant frequencies in parts of the Levant and Northeast Africa.[352][380] The geographical distribution pattern of this component correlates with the pattern of the Islamic expansion, but its presence in Lebanese Christians, Sephardi and Ashkenazi Jews, Cypriots and Armenians might suggest that its spread to the Levant could also represent an earlier event.[352]

The Levantine component is the main autosomal element in the Near East and Caucasus. It peaks among Druzepopulations in the Levant. The Levantine component diverged from the Arabian component about 15,500–23,700 ypb.[352]

The Coptic component is the main autosomal element in Northeast Africa. It peaks among Egyptian Copts in Sudan, and is also found at high frequencies among other Afro-Asiatic-speaking populations in the Nile Valley and Horn of Africa.[381] The Coptic component is roughly equivalent with the Ethio-Somali component.[382]

The Maghrebi component is the main autosomal element in the Maghreb. It peaks among the non-Arabized Berberpopulations in the region.[380] The Maghrebi component diverged from the Coptic/Ethio-Somali, Arabian and Levantine components prior to the Holocene.[380][382]

Their national hero and most famous contemporary personality (past many centuries at least) is called Abdelkader ibn Muhieddine al-Hasani. Otherwise known as Emir Abdelkader (عبد القادر الجزائري). A national hero of Hijazi origin.

And this mentally ill serial troll with a personality disorder is trying to create senseless hostility out of the blue here between brotherly and sisterly people.

The troll is banned (perpetually almost) but next time he begins to insult Morocco, Moroccans, Egypt, Egyptians, Saudi Arabia and Saudi Arabians, Iraq and Iraqis (list is long) just ignore him and remember his bipolar disorder and the fact that he is one single radical Kabyle clown out of 40 million + Algerians.

If Algeria is a regime, what do you the hyena’s den that rule the kingdom of darkness?

Probably some kind of bribe in order to prevent a repeat of the bloody civil war
You mean the one that the subhuman financed? What you need to remember nitwit, we are not Egyptians, Yemeni, Syrians or Iraqis..We can put it to you any time we choose...Starting this year, make room in your cemeteries for the wahabi you sent to Mali within the so called 5x5.
Russians are our friends not allies. Unlike your kind , we don’t forget longtime friends..You don’t need to buy them or buy their friendship so they can defend us..or protect us ...or drop our skivvies like you did to the US, the French, the brits or prostitutes ourselves to perceived ennemies like your are doing to the Russians to get your hands on whatever weaponnery they have...the only thing kSA will get your hand on , is their on little head..
With America, first of all Algeria doesn’t subscribe to their Arizona junk yard flyer, like ..Nor does she subscribe to their food stamp giveaway like KSA . The Donald, during his campaign promised to get the Kingdom of the indésirables pay for the US protection..and he did just that a $400B smackers...That the GUY , I voted for...

You dumb *** , Algerian solders are not Arabs and certainly not Saudis...These are not Algerians, the uniforme is not Algerian. It’s a uniform that most African armies wear..It is a video dubbed with the Algerian dialect and who dubbed it is not good at that...
Algerian army doesn’t deal with civilians or migrant, that is the role of the gendarmerie, who are equipped to deal with human tragedies..

Not a way to treat the stateless Toureg relatives of @Ceylal and his imaginary and "mighty" stateless Berberians.

Touareg are Not stateless, never were or would be...They are the mighty Touregs, in the near future they will be sending you their love in plastic bags..
he Algerian army should do the same with troublemakers in tiny Kabyle. They have a long and proud history of doing so
They are 40 million Kabyles, and the Algerian army, as well as the police, the security services, the Air Force, the navy, are all Kabyles..Algeria doesn’t have two armies one protecting The leaches of perverted kings and princes, and another for the camel urine drinkers..
Wild carnivores

Hhhhhhh you spent all those years in France, and you learned 2 words..”Baguette” you remembered it, due, most likely to a North African who shove it up your arse...second, the word “cretin” that your Egyptian friends and followers love to use, as you do, without knowing its meaning or origin...
The you migrated to Spain ,so you say, and you remembered “Carnivore” hhhhhh!
Really? Let be honest and let assign the word to the most deserving between you and I..
You use Camel urine, to wash, drink and do your ablutions ...you smell like a Camel...Hyenas, have the same likes..They piss to mark their territory, they role in hyenas piss to attract females hyenas, and when they are hungry they eat each other...Who do you recognize here ? Certainly your king..

the likes of Ceylal must be kept firmly under control and with locks around their necks, hands and feet
The Sauds , The Emiratis, the Jordanians, the Qataris and of course Sisi’s glorious army are in the Sahel.., we will see in which country Fedex and UPS will be the busiest delivering “sent to hell bodybags”
If the Arabs of Algeria need any assistance we are here to help our brothers and sisters out to tame the carnivores.
First of all ALGERIANS are not Arabs, it isn’t because you have an Embassy there, that Algerians are Arabs..Algerians are Amazighs, free men” like the French words it took you 3 years to learn , I doubt you know the meaning of the word “free” or that of “men”
Until you come up with something better and more substantial to entertain the PDF gallery, @ seif el Arab, aka, sheriff el harsmein, aka, Akkad de Sargon, aka el Andalusia aka the peninsula’s pedale or whatever the account’s name is..I smel the stench of the sewer you live in....My apologies to the hyenas....
