The current regime in Iran is great for everyone except for the Iranian people.

GCC likes it because its a convenient boogeyman, by taking up the role of defending Arab lands from the evil Persians who want to rule the ME.
U.S likes it because it gives them an excuse to have military bases in the gulf and sell expensive weapons to GCC.
Israel likes it because its causing a major rift between Arab countries and dividing the hostile region.
Russia likes it because of its anti-western stance.

All of that while the poor Iranians are getting fucked. As soon as the lunatic Mullas took over, they instigated Saddam to invade by calling and supporting Iraqi shias to revolt, after that they refused a cease fire which costed them hundreds of thousands of lives and hundreds of billions of dollars and then they agreed to the same cease fire proposal made by Saddam six years earlier, thus wasting all of that national treasure. After that, they interfered in the internal affairs of every neighbouring country making everyone around them hate them even more. Later on they pretend to be making a nuclear bomb and being all coy about it, which resulted in severe economical hardship for the average Iranian citizen, while their friends across the gulf are a thousand times richer and building skyscrapers, hotels, railway trains and huge infrastructure development.

That's why for GCC, U.S and Israel the Iranian leadership is a gift from God, but for the Iranians a wretched curse.
