What's new

Top LeT man Sajid Mir quietly held, jailed in terror financing case

If that wasn’t the case, mujahideen wouldn’t be used on LOC and in Afghanistan even while their groups are banned and leaders arrested.
Good.

Now that we are clear this is state policy, and one embraced by the citizens of the country, things become much easier.

If such wasn’t the case, a couple months ago those brave Pakistani mujahids wouldn’t have killed 20 + occupiers in poonch and successfully cross the border back.
They did? Good for them, especially their successfully crossing the border back. Poor things normally don't; the average life of an infiltrator is three weeks. Pitiful, but real.

This occupier disagreed. He learned the hard way in poonch just a few months back. There’s no stopping Pakistani mujahideen.
Whatever you think is right and truthful and accurate. There seems to be some illusion in your minds that large numbers of people go across, cause havoc, and return. Only one of the three is true.

Yes.

Our judicial system is non existent and full of sellouts

Facts are facts and no one can deny Mumbai attacks was insider attack by RAW

So this is one part of the great Satan that you accept, while rejecting all the rest.

Just shows what an addled mind can achieve.

Our judicial system is non existent and full of sellouts
So which part of the Pakistani state works? The political system? The educational system? The economic and industrial system? The military?

You are running out of institutions that you think work.

You have simply blamed all the irrationality on us
Umm, is that the equivalent of saying, "We didn't do anything, it's just that you are determined not to listen to us, so we refuse to say why you should believe us"?

You do understand the absurdity of this position?

Indians are messing with Pakistan and supporting terrorists and separatists since Pakistan's creation.
Can you name instances? Not what fanboys dream up, but what is known from evidence? To quote a famous member who keeps asking for hard evidence, is there anything other than broad surmise and suspicion, and a picture of a Baloch nationalist seen in the proximity of Indian government officials?

Hello Indians. Can we exchange your Hindu RSS Sanhjis with our Islamic ones? Thanks in advance!

Some compatriots of mine laughed and otherwise took this lightly. I feel this is the best suggestion I've read all year.

In AJk we tried to close down LET/JD Masjid/Maddrassa but big timers from Islamabad gave threats to not close it. The local population is all anti LET/JD but those in Islamabad want it opened so they could brainwash the youth.
I take it you are a genuine Pakistani, and not, as some of our half-witted friends will jump to assert, a false-flagging Indian? I ask because if you have read earlier posts, some Pakistanis are completely deranged; they will do everything to discredit your statement, including calling you a false-flagging Indian - easiest way out of a logically and factually untenable situation for them.

Ah, now it is clear.

The State of Pakistan foists false cases on citizens, and arrests, arraigns, tries and convicts them so that they can satisfy some foreign school of thought.

Got it.

That's not what your judicial system says.

Presumably they have been bought up by RAW.
Erm… you may not be wrong in some different context.

And this isn’t implying my daddy is better than yours but if an Indian general decides to write a full disclosure and honest “tell all” book the worst is that he is legally prosecuted but the revelations would be at worst “Oh, we knew this… just not this aspect”

If a Pakistani general does the same, not only is he and his family pretty much dead, it would be a “What the hell?!” and the façade upon façades would crash.

I don’t make this statement lightly

Pakistan support for extremist groups alienated the local freedom movements such as JKLF, their head was arrested and then hanged in Delhi with Pak/India collaboration.
India has made grave mistakes of her own in dealing with a perfectly manageable situation in J&K, and the greatest ally of Pakistanis convinced that the remaining portions of J&K under Indian administration belongs to Pakistan is the central government in Delhi.

Any administration, at both state/Union territory and central level, that is determined to bring normalcy can do that in a matter of three years to five years. That is with maximal outside interference.

Your state knew the policy for decades now. Still nothing has become easier.

Large number of people don’t go. This isn’t 90s anymore. Our state doesn’t want a war so it restricts the mujahids. Since last ceasefire, mujahideen have been stopped from doing any raids and stopped from doing their activities. Government disbanded many camps due to international pressure.
But the number of people willing to go is large and when time comes you’ll see them wreak havoc. Our 4 mujahids were enough last time to kill 20+ occupiers. Only 1 was martyred. For Indians even 1 mujahid is enough to make them all run like cowards.

This shall be challenged at the court. Politically motivated convictions are least likely to bring any justice to the victims of 26/11.

That idiot, A. S. Dulat, wrote something like that, and my friend on insaniyat who was a very, very senior bureaucrat in J&K and retired after 37 years there told our group that without the stupid and brainless interventions by New Delhi, there would never have been a J&K problem today.

Needless to add, the latest gross violations of the constitution of J&K and the constitution of India haven't eased the situation.

As you suggested, not only was he not prosecuted, he actually became a lion on the speaking circuit, and managed to persuade his Pakistani counterpart to write a damaging mirror narrative that got the poor Pakistani intelligence bigwig into serious hot water.

Yes, that was demonstrated in that collaboration with Dulat. I was among those amazed at the violent reaction in Pakistan.

You must be loving under a stone then.
I normally love in other locations, but you can check, this is the norm. Discount your fairy tales.

Good.

We suspected it, but with the latest steps taken by the Pakistani state, the matter has become clear to the world at large, not just to the intelligence operatives of various countries, but to the normal public as well. Nothing is supposed to become easier when the victim learns the criminal's motives; things improve only when the criminals motives are altered, or the criminals are apprehended and punished. As happened recently, without the victim doing anything about it.

But the victim is Pakistan and criminal is india

People have a right to resist “colonial domination and alien occupation and racist regimes in the exercise of their right of self-determination as enshrined in the Charter of the UN” and/or to resist illegal practices of the occupier according to Article 1(4) of Protocol 1 of the Geneva Conventions

So legally all Kashmiri mujahid groups sponsored by Pakistan or not, are legally allowed to resist foreign occupation.
Therefore, india is the criminal here and Pakistan is the victim.
Hypocrisy of countries will exist due to their interests but UN Law is clear.

Every person fighting Indian occupation of Kashmir is legally allowed to do so.

The local kashmiri population were not extremist, their struggle for freedom was their right. India in return sent 1.5M security forces with special powers, they arrested whom they wanted, harassed, raped women, killed people, kidnapped, fake encounters. This lead to deep hatred and massive protests.

However we now live in a world where money, economy, progress is everything, Kashmir fighting has died down. India just needs to remove the special powers given to the security forces, let the kashmiri police handle the locals, move the army to the borders.

Pakistan military leadership is already busy making deals on kashmir, cowards, so the future on peace in Kashmir looks positive.

You and we all know what kind of jail they go to. And Indians were right. Thing is they are not angels. Indians are messing with Pakistan and supporting terrorists and separatists since Pakistan's creation. Terror victims good joke. India was and is the enemy and no one is angel in this war.
Ordinary people are victims of terror regardless of where terrorism happens
