I can't believe Saudi Arabia spends so much for defense. Who are their enemies anyway? Israel government is wise enough not to take any action that would cause a war , which basically leaves Iran. I doubt that even iran and saudi arabia will go to war because at the end of the day , they are both muslim nations .

Saudia is spending money to make themselves satisfy that they have so many weapons to keep them safe but their rulers will face the same fate as the Libyan leader faced by the hands of the US/NATO...

Sir culture of Saudi Arabia is really different from other Arab Nations so I am 90 % sure nothing will happen their and also their attitude towards their people is really great and Saudi Arabia is now expanding its forces they are focusing on their training their equipment and also increasing their numbers and also planning to build a parallel force of Saudi National Guards with Tanks Armoured Vehicles and also Fighter Planes so they will have to spend more money and also they are trying to buy them with TOT

US is playing on Saudi's fears with usual tactic - divide and conquer. Fake assassination plot, etc. US will drive Saudi's to the limit, sell weapons for the tens of billions, and when/if US attacks Iran, Saudi's will be asked to join the aggression.

If Iran gives no reason for the attack our stance will be the same as that of Iraq. We refused to have anything to do with the Iraq war and as a result the US bases moved to Qatar. Kuwait already hold large bases and the US would never budge away from Kuwait since it is similar to Taiwan for them.

Exactly a bigger budget means a better army with better equipment. Saudi soldiers are moving from Soldier mentality to operator mentality with each soldier operating a system be it a rifle or a ballistic missile. Iran has the advantage of missile shower and more numbers.

One of the only reasons why the US has not attacked yet is because GCC refuses to go into a war. Wikileaks and stuff are publishing their lies as usual same as the Ambassador thing the Wikileaks thing was to piss off Iran and the Ambassador is to piss off Saudi Arabia. only difference is Iranians and Psedu-Iranians accept those cables as facts while Saudis did not believe the Ambassador thing. On a serious note, japan does not have really good relations with china, they hit rocky patches sometimes. Anyway with North korea in the neighbourhood, they must stay on their guard
