Try discussing with your friends issues you discuss on PDF, online. Its the same case on both sides.
Not entirely. Maybe I am judging from a wholly unrepresentative sample, but the Pakistanis I know outside PDF are true friends. RHR on PTH, but also the four on our personal mailing list. Even when they say things about Hindus, and about Indian administration and governance that sting, they are so clearly being fair and even-handed that one has to take things on the chin (even the Hindu bits, which I keep complaining don't apply to me). But that may be biased, because we chose to be friends. I so yearn to show my friends around, and keep hoping that before I'm too old, some of them can come and stay with their families with us, and I can take them to my favourite bits in India. We've talked about it, and most of them have agreed to eat vegetarian while they're with us.
On PDF, it's harsher. Oh, when Icarus and Notorious Eagle say things I don't like, there's no option but to stick one's hands in one's pockets and wander off to mutter rude things to the phlox. But some of the youngsters go right up my nose.
