Time to wage war on TTP in Afghanistan?

I would like to increase diplomatic influence over afghanistan through China and Russia,,, or either through America,... If Afghan turns enemies to us it would be so difficult to Stop India from their evil hidden missions... India would never attack by front.. It would be so deadly for Pakistan to have a phase to phase war with Afghanistan,,,,America is responsible for such kind of ignorance and non cooperation by Afghanistan,,, Also, we must resolve issue with India just Scotland had resolved with England...so we must build over economic image over the world. ,,, Despite this i feel we must have to fall in straight war with India who is ruining us through the way of Afghanistan,,,,, we must be prepared for direct and most fatal war with India....Do or die before let them kill one by one in hidden way

Why not just help Afghanistan and get rid of the Afghan Taliban, who the whole world knows, are holed up in you country?

Help Afghanistan destroy Afghan Taliban, and they ll make the TTP and other anti Pakistani elements go away? Surely that's the easiest and safest of the options?

Why not attack TTP in Afghanistan?

We have been reading angry comments on the page since the BKU attack that the Pakistan Armed Forces are not responding against the terrorists who are residing in Afghanistan and are enjoying the hospitality of the Afghan security forces and its govt.

Let's make this one thing clear. Nothing and no one is too far from our reach in Afghanistan, we can launch a campaign inside Afghanistan to seek out and destroy these elements where they are. The military capability is present, so is willingness. The decision to start such a campaign lies with the people of Pakistan and the Govt.

The Military will do what the Govt asks them to do, if such a campaign is started, it will take years to complete and it will cost us financial resources and casualties of our soldiers. It will also create a situation where our right wing fundamentalists will start saying that Pakistan is bombing a 'fellow Muslim brotherly cousin country of Afghanistan'. They will simply overlook the fact that Afghanistan is sponsoring and facilitating the murder of Pakistani children.

Prime Minister has the authority to initiate such a campaign to seek out and destroy Taliban targets in Afghanistan. It will require for the Prime Minister and the people of Pakistan to resolutely support this campaign, morally and financially. It will also mean that the office of the PM would have to openly justify the use of force in Afghanistan and would have to own up to it.

When all of the above dynamics are in place there will be no place safe enough for any of the TTP bastards in Afghanistan nor those who are supporting them to carry out their murderous campaign.

Lol did Gov ask military to start north Waziristan operation? There are some facts
1#TTA and haqqani network are not our friends.and neither we have influence on them,as gov and military sources claim they have it, but reality is if there was any thing they lisen ,then after APS incident why they not attacking on TTP ? .its to easy for them to mix with ttp and blow kill them but this not happen.

2# so TTA is not under Pakistan influence as a Fact.now the only way to kill TTP is through secret operations or through double agents.Killing fazlullah is not a problem, fact is whole Ttp.
3#or to create a small group 100 to 200 who will operate in afghanistan andd kill those ttp,but ttp mother foreign consulates still live and will lay more eggs, and again in the end new kids born.
4# obviously then trun of mother comes but it will make situation more complicated as local police and afghan army is protecting them,so all in all secret operation to kill ttp is possible. Direct military operation is always possible but always with big problems.

Looking at social media, there is a overwhelming support in Pakistan for some sort of action across border to eliminate the combined terror infra of NDS/RAW and perhaps CIA/MOSSAD as well. This can be made more effective and ruthless if we put our weight behind Afghans taliban and give them marching orders towards Kabul. If our enemies have crossed all red lines and things have come to the stage where they dont even shy away from shooting our kids at point blank range, what is there left to be done? Peace talks ? with whom? the same people who hate you with passion? What is there left to be done which they havent done in last decade against our people mostly civilians? We got 50000 dead and counting. All bets should have been off long time ago.

There is only man however who is the hurdle against any action against the enemies of Pakistan, his highness Mr Nawaz Shareef. The man cant see beyond his business interests in India. If he was a liability yesterday, he is now becoming a danger to the well being of state. Before him was Zardari. Why on earth we got scumbags are our leaders is a mystery.

Seeing such comments coming from senior Indian members gets me surprised, but i believe that's expected.

Did the recent take over of Kunduz by Afghan Taliban got support from within Pakistan. Meaning was Kunduz just across the border with Pakistan and these Afghan Taliban crossed it, raided it and came back. I believe the answer is a very big NO.

Kunduz is thousands of miles away from Pak-Afghan border, its on the other side of Afghanistan, but still Afghan Taliban captured it, which clearly tells you that they don't need Pakistan anymore. They have now no safe heavens on this side of the border. They have now sufficient logistical support inside their own country which is a reason that their footprint inside Afghanistan has grown considerable after the withdrawal of US / NATO forces.

If TTP can enjoy the Afghan hospitality, then why can't the Afghan Taliban enjoy their own country.

You did hear US / Afghan officials telling about clashes between Afghan ISIS & Afghan Taliban, right inside Afghanistan. So if they are staying in our country, then why are clashes among them happening inside Afghanistan.

Am talking about their leadership.

If the leadership is here, then who is controlling them there ? Who controlled and planned the take over of Kunduz, definitely the Afghans don't have command & control like the Americans that they can control their ground troops with such sophisticated communication system.

How does one explain these sorta incidents then? And this is not an isolated case.

That is why i had warned that Indians should better stay away from this thread, as they will come with their stupid comments / remarks and derail the thread.

Do you have any idea about the Pushtun tribal society ? Any idea how many Pushtun tribes are divided across the border ? Any idea that people among Pakistan & Afghanistan cross over in thousands on daily basis without any visa / passport ?

Here see these below links:

Shinwari (Pashtun tribe) - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Kakar - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Zadran (Pashtun tribe) - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Afridi - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Just a few examples of Pushtun tribes with division across both borders. Zadran are the ones from which Haqqanis are from.

And as per your above example, if that commander has been under ISI protection, how come he got assassinated ? Shouldn't he be somewhere safe. You do know Haqqanis son got assassinated in Islamabad. If they were under protection, then why they got assassinated in the open.

There are millions of Afghan refugees inside Pakistan without any documentation, they cross over on daily basis, how are you gonna monitor who is who. The attackers of APS & BKU came right across the border and i bet from legal routes, but they couldn't get noticed and they reached their targets.

On daily basis Afghans come into Pakistan, get their work done and go back. Same case with Pakistanis.

I live in Peshawar and we have 2 very prestigious hospitals, called Rehman Medical Institute & NorthWest General Hospital. We the people of Peshawar joke that they should be named as Afghan Medical Institute & Afghan Northwest General Hospital, as its full of Afghans and they pay in dollars. They come, get treated and go back. No questions asked.

I think Pakistan can its own drones, it is best option Pakistan have as Pakistan has strong intelligence network..
And our government has low credibility if COAS stress on using drones I am sure government will give permission.

Afghan Taliban are part of the society in Afghanistan, the reason they were not defeated by a 40 country coalition is because they command support within the Pashtun population. To think that TTP and AT's are the same organization is foolish. AT's were fighting a foreign invasion of their land and culture. TTP on the other hand is a mercenary force.

No it wont....
Ttp is a disgrace to humanity and a stain on name of islam....

On topic covertly or openly we will have to attack ttp in afghanistan one day.... because their atrocities will continue....even if u fence the border they will find a way....

We better be preparing today for war of tomorow

its the time for Pak intelligence agencies to work on a new plan to neutralize its enemies in afghanistan ......... i know its too difficult for them because afghanis are not only dying for indian rupee but also they are dying for american dollars as the americans have lost their hold in the region .......... as CPEC is underway .............

I think Pakistan Army has no choice but to go after TTP safe hideouts in Afghanistan, send in SSG's to eliminate high profile TTP dogs, TTP has already threatened to kill more children in schools, enough bloodhead has happened, I know its a gigantic task but seal the damn border with Afghanistan and dont let any Afghans cross over the border with out passports and biometric verification should be done on who ever enters Pakistan.
