Ties strained as India cuts fuel subsidy to Bhutan

You said it "Spring Chicken ".......:D

.................with Spring Onion.......................

:) the neck is delicate and one small step can hurt the golden egg India is trying to save.

Spring is there, Chicken is there. But wrong time to cut the Onions by bharatis and invite tears .

Good a little spanking will bring Bhutanese back in line.

A simple spanking has made the bhutanese cry.Bhutan foreign secretary is coming from bhutan to Delhi crying like a sissy next week.:)

Your colonialism era tactics dint work :))) neither your bullying. Maldives already stood up . Bhutan will follow in the long run.

We shall see who will have the last tear drop when Bhutan decide to have diplomatic relation with China.:disagree:

Maldives agreed like a mere servant last month to give a refueling facility to Indian Navy and ICG.:):):)

Even with Tears i will like to have Chicken neck with Spring Onion...............Janaji...............

India's day with Bhutan is numbered...they're fed up for being lectured and controlled by India for decades...we Chinese have no rush, we will just capitalized on Indian's mistake

Bhutanese foreign policy is not dictated by India any more. The treaty has been revised six years back.

This is the worst example you have put on table.Nepal which tried to play both India and China card suffered severe damage to its economy due to political unrest and is the least developed country in the region.Bhutan has shown much better progress in every aspect than Nepal.

What's because they don't know how to play the China and India card well, but at least Nepal is out of India's grip, you will not dictate them ever again and not only that you have to be nice knowing China card is open for Nepal...you just have not leverage on them. Of course India has actificially make Bhutan the most happier and progressif nation on earth by providing aids while 40% of your own people are mal nourished...you must be realy happy of that....let see how long can you substain.

Actually what surprised me is that we were providing subsidy to Bhutan ( a foreign country) using Indian tax payer's money. Anyways I don't find any problem with this. If the Bhutanese want to be close to China, then China should foot the bill not India.

Wow, its nice to see people jumping in excitement. Commenting on chicken neck and what not. Being half Bhutiya, I can tell you that there is no reason of getting excited, especially @ Spring Onion and Kiss_of_the_dragon. Indo-Bhutanese ties are strong and such incidences do not make any difference. It will be sorted out soon and all your dreams would be shattered.

BTW those ho think taking down the chicken neck is easy are delusional. People ignore the fact that the NE states are in the other side of chicken neck, and those who have no knowledge of that area would only take them lightly. Please somebody go and read the history and its resistance towards invaders.

Good move....

Our balance of trade is bad enough because of our own oil and gas imports.

Childish logic. If to go by your logic there is no need for a manned mission in space for a country where people sell their kidney to buy a cell phone.
