i do know about smokeless engines, but i thought that most of them by default are smokeless didn't knew it was an added feature.

As explained by @messiach some time ago, in terms of 70s technology, smoke was expected under certain flight profiles. Then, further enhancements were made to make fuel combustion more efficient. Per material on the internet, the next iteration of RD-33, called RD-33 OVT is smokeless.

And the RD-33MK. That is the improved version of the RD-33 for carrier-based operations. Smokeless combustion chamber does have come with a snag, namely the fuel energy density suffers slightly.

That is interface plug for missile to connect to launcher , how data interchange happens between radar/irst etc and Missile and Missile send data back via to radar/mfd etc from its seeker depending on caged or uncaged Modes

Could also be used to hook up test eqpt to check missile

Basically a like a compacter port

Corded version mostly for external test eqpt on launcher you may not need to cord

Check r-73

Its called umbilical cord in military aviation parlance.
This is the technical name.

It is responsible for power supply, data/signal supply and it also supplies cooling (nitrogen) gas for missile's IR seeker against overheating before launch.

The black smoke usualy appears when the afterburner is not engaged and even then during some atmospheric conditions.....here as you see even in idle thrust, there's no smoke.

Sorry guys but black smoke is the result of poor votex within the combustion chambers. The purpose of vortex is to maximise the fuel burn time in order to burn as much fuel as possible. Unfortunately poor combustor design leads to jneffiecint burn and hence smoke.
