In Greece the "Pakistani" diaspora is mainly illegal immigrants who went there from backwards villages of Pakistan. Most of them are young men less than 30 years old, and they think Europe is as they see in P*rn movies.

Agreed. The ones that visit Greece are usually illiterate and doing low wage jobs. They don't have much chance of success in Northern European countries. Greece is usually a place in Europe for poorer migrants.

154.569 Syrian refugees left Türkiye for good since the beginning of this year. The overall figure is now down to 3.4 million Syrians seeking refuge in Turkiye. Still too high. At least 3 million of them has to leave the country.

Yes, decent Pakistanis can’t show their faces anywhere in the world without facing hatred because of illegal (and legal) immigrants committing crimes.

If I travel I can’t claim to be only Canadian because I still look like a Pakistani. If someone asks me, to soften the impact, I say I’m originally from Pakistan but I haven’t lived there for 40+ years.

I’ve never been to Turkey and it was the country I wanted to visit the most. But after reading all the threads on PDF I think I’ll give it a miss.

If they don’t fix Pakistan very soon there’ll be a flood of refugees landing everywhere in the world.

It’s no surprise what Afghans do. They have a criminal side. However I’m more curious as to why Pakistanis from Gujrat, Mandi Bahudin, and Gujranwala are migrating illegally in numbers. It’s not like there is war in those cities. Sure lack of economic opportunities is an issue but these days where is not? I can bet my whole life that these youthiyas in Pakistan are incompetent to do anything even if they are given opportunities. These Pakistanis in Athens look fairly decent and look like they are minding their business while running their shops.

Apparently this is supposed to be some dangerous Pakistani ghetto but even ordinary Greeks seem to be walking around without any issues.

There are honest and hardworking Pakistanis. And they often get extorted,harassed or beaten up by other Pakistanis and Afghans. You know...the sausagefest that comes here and demands everything.

This is a self-soothing lie. It's factually wrong. Even back in 2015 when things were still somewhat calm the overwhelming majority of the Turkish society including Erdoğan's voter base were strictly against supporting refugees.

There are plenty of international opinion polls proving this societal attitude in Turkiye to be true.

Afghans and Pakistanis don't look like the men in the photo. Either the photo is wrong or this is right wing propaganda from Greece.

Pakistan is a huge country with various ethnic groups.

Greece is usually a stop for them. Most of them want to go to Germany,France,UK.

Many lowlives do go there. Not just Pakistanis or Afghans,but a lot of Arabs from the Levant and North Africa as well. That's why some French and British cities have big problems with immigrants and "refugees".

Turkiye is lucky to not have shared borders with them.
