Have you forgotten how Japs raped your forefathers? Shut up and stop flaming. The only war you won was against India, I agree to that. What about Vietnam, Japan, Phillipines, Russia. Have the guts? No you don't. With stealing missile technology from US to Europe, from copying from even a III rated variety of rice, to making fake drugs, you guys sure made money, but good for none.

Today, many Indians occupy top posts in the Obama administration, tell me one Chinese doing the same? You cannot, because there ain't any.

We won't give Tawang, won't give nothing, go and cry now in front of your commie papa Hu Phu Phu!!!

Adrenalin, Japan was always under China influence in her history! Not the other way round! China was always the big brother of east asia

Secretary of energy is Chinese origin! Is there any cabinet member of Obama that is of Indian origin?

What indians should worry about is that if they fought chinese ...God helps.

:china:Because chinese are not vegetarian..:cheesy:.

China’s claim that Arunachal Pradesh is nothing but southern Tibet and hence it’s part of China has had interesting repercussions. Historians have been quick to point out that the first person to conquer Tibet was Genghis Khan and if Arunachal Pradesh was really southern Tibet than it should belong, not to China, but to Mongolia. While the Mongolian government has not yet claimed either Arunachal Pradesh or Tibet, it is simultaneously dazed and entranced with the idea.

Meanwhile, the Chinese claim has also enthused the leaders of Uzbekistan, one of whom has pointedly remarked that the Mughal emperor Babar was from Samarkand in Uzbekistan. A committee of Uzbek historians is considering whether Uzbekistan can claim Delhi on that basis. Not to be outdone, Tibetans living in India have laid claim to Beijing on the basis of the tribute that the Chinese had to pay to a Tibetan strongman called Songsten Gampo 1,300 years ago. They propose to lodge a strong protest against Chinese President Hu Jintao’s recent public appearances in Beijing, claiming he had no business to be there.

Indian states have been quick to take advantage of this fascinating new trend. Tamil Nadu politicos, for instance, have lost no time in pointing out that Sumatra and Java were part of the vast Chola empire and have proposed renaming Angkor Wat as East Gummidipundi. Bihar has laid claim to Mauritius and Guyana on the basis of the thousands who migrated there. They plan to rename Mauritius as South Begusarai, while Guyana will be New Jhumri Talaiya.

Other countries too have jumped into the fray. Iran is studying whether Nadir Shah’s invasion could lead to a claim on Delhi. That has led to a sharp rebuke from Uzbekistan. Afghan president Hamid Karzai, tired of ruling his war-torn country, has applied for the post of governor of West Bengal, as Afghan chief Sher Shah Suri ruled the place some 500 years ago. A Myanmarese general claimed Assam because the Ahom people there were originally from the Shan states, part of present-day Myanmar. He was shocked when Assam turned around and claimed the Shan states instead. While historians say Pakistan and Afghanistan were part of Chandragupta Maurya’s empire, India has understandably not been very keen to claim those Taliban-infested regions. And finally, fed up with all these petty rivalries, Namibia has laid claim to the entire planet, on the basis that all human beings originated from their country before migrating to the rest of Africa and then to the world. But China insists that all those cities that have Chinatowns should belong to them.

Meanwhile the Indian government has sought to play down the Chinese threat, merely saying that it is pained and disappointed with their attitude. This has irked some Indians, who do not understand why their government hasn’t immediately de-recognised the frivolous Chinese claims on Tibet and Xinjiang. “We demand the government should immediately send Raj Thackeray to Tibet to kick out the Han outsiders there,” said a Shiv Sena leader. But a Maharashtra Navnirman Sena party worker said that rumours of Raj being forced to secretly learn Tibetan are not true.

At an emotional meeting in New Delhi, Opposition leaders claimed that Prime Minister Manmohan Singh had even been seen eating chow mein at a recent public dinner. The Prime Minister’s Office has issued a strong denial, alleging this was a foul canard being spread with ulterior motives. “He was merely eating spaghetti,” clarified a government spokesman.

The center of the "Mongolia" is inside Inner Mongolia (where the retained language and heritage) versus Outer Mongolia (which as been basterdized by the Russians). Also, since the Yuan Dynasty Monglia has been incorporated fully in China. Thus, Hindus/Indians have even LESS claim. :)

Why Indias Land is Indias Land

1.Bismaknagar
Quote:
It is located in Dibang Valley district and is a sacred heritage of the Idu Mishmis. It is a symbol of past glory and indicate the high standard of civilisation that once prevailed around Bhismaknagar. Bhismaknagar must have been a strong hold of the Chutiyas (12th-16th centuries) but the excavations has been throwing new light on its much earlier antiquities. Bhismaknagar stands for what is best in the tribal and Aryans way of life.
It speaks for the Catholic spirit of the ancient Indians and the contribution made by the Idus to the synthetic fabric of Indian culture.

Bhismaknagar

2. Parasuram Kund and the Brahma Kund in the Lohit district are sacred places that attract thousands of pilgrims, who take a dip in their holy waters to purge themselves of their sins every year.

3. Bismaknagar and its fort in the Dibang Valley are memorials to the Bhagwat Gita. The story goes that Lord Krishna’s visited Bismaknagar, fell in love with a local girl Rukmini, and eloped with her.

4.
these places are scattered all around Arunachal Pradesh.

5. Malinithan is a temple site in ruins. It is situated at the foot of the Siang hills under the Likabali Sub-Division of West Siang District of Arunachal Pradesh. It is only 1 Km east of Likabali, the nearest administrative centre. Relics of stone images of Malinithan came to be noted from the early twenties of the present century. In course of series of excavation from 1968 and ending 1971, ruins of temples and valuable scriptures were unearthed at this site. The fame of Malinithan as a holy place of worship draws a large number of visitors and piligrims.

6. Forts constructed around 10th to 12th centuries are found in the Bhalukpong area of West Kameng district.

7. Lohit District
is the present name derived from one of its principal rivers, the Lohit which rises from the eastern Tibet and enters India in Kibithoo area of the District. In the ancient Indian literature the river is called 'Lauhitya' a name that is associated with the legends of Parasuram which referred in Srimad Bhagavat, Kalikapurana and in the Mahabharata.

8. The ancient history of the individual Lohit District is not concreated due to paucity of historical evidence, literary or material, yet the lower belt of the district is the base for evidence for existence of the ruins of ancient settlement, buildings, shrines and temples. The Parasuram Kund,Tamreswari temple,Sivalinga site and the city of king Bhismak situated in this region are also mentioned in the Puranic and tantric literatures.

9. Rukmini Nati: are the ruins of Princess Rukmini is situated at the heart of Chimiri village which is approximately 12 km from Roing. This is a hill-fort presumably of 14th/15th century. You find the remains of burnt and baked bricks, which indicates the progress of the erstwhile civilization.

These are the reasons why Arunachal is an Integral part of India. Though China has 100's of years of history the Chinese members have not been able to defend their claim, This in itself speaks a lot

This in itself gives u a conclusion that Arunachal is an Integral part of India.

Arunachal students protest China's 'hegemonic' claim

Shouting slogans like 'Born in India, (will) Die in India', activists of the All Arunachal Pradesh Students' Union (AAPSU), regretted the 'lukewarm attitude and diplomatic romancing' of India with China over the issue.

let me take this one step further then, since tibet is a part of china as all world governments currently agree and as i have shown you.

then the dalai lama is not a national leader who can define borders.

^^if you understand the above then you can see that whether that land is chinese or indian he has no authority to say. understand now? even if we totally throw out everything he says the status of tibet is still not in doubt as i have shown you.

also if you dont mind can i have a source where he says Arunachal Pradesh is an integral part of India? i havent been able to find one.

hi found something which the Dalai Lama has said this time with a link

Dalai Lama surprised over Chinese claims on Tawang

Recalling the Sino-India war in 1962, the Dalai Lama told reporters here that the People's Liberation Army of China had occupied Tawang and nearly reached Bom Dila that year.

"But the then Chinese Government declared a unilateral ceasefire and withdrew (its forces). Now the Chinese have got different views. This is something which I really don't know.I am little bit surprised," he said in an apparent reference to Chinese claims over Tawang.

china only need one reason :McMahon Line
if two countries can solve this issue through negotiation, then let's enjoy the peace like the last 5000 years
if we can't ,china have enough budget as backup plan

Yes true

Firstly, non of the :china: members engaged in war of words in this thread (i.e. interms of facts).
second this dosent show the lack of interest but shows the lack of facts. To prove the claims

The only reason of china's claim is that " Arunachal was a part of Tibet but the same Tibetan govt recognizes the Mac Mohan line and china had no problem then but the problem really started when the Dalai Lama fled to India".

Talking of the budget :what: Well that difference will become narrower as time passes. So India has to Just calm down and follow a "wait and watch" policy.

I agree with u some what about years of peace, and feel that the line of actual control (LAC) will be the final border with some minor modifications and trade-offs.

After all these discussions now we can change the name of the thread

This Indian Land Is India's Land

A special thanks for the person who started the thread

Conclusion: Arunachal Pradesh is an integral part of India & all china can do is to protest or go for war again as one of our Chinese friend says.

if two countries can solve this issue through negotiation, then let's enjoy the peace like the last 5000 years
if we can't ,china have enough budget as backup plan

Amazing Arunachal

Tucked away in the north-western corner of India, Arunachal Pradesh has borders with Bhutan, Tibet and Myanmar. The name means ‘Land of the Rising Sun’. It has great scenic beauty with snow clad mountains, streams and rivers, forests of different types, terraced cultivation, herds of yak and mountain sheep.

About 40% of the 1.1 million population (2001 census) are Buddhists. The ‘Tibetan’ Buddhists belong to the Mahayana sect which follows lamaistic traditions. Those living in the eastern part of the state, believed to have originally migrated from Myanmar and Thailand belong to the Hinayana sect.

The pagodas and Buddhist monasteries of Arunachal are great tourist attractions. Pagodas locally called ‘Gompas’ are places of veneration, or temples. The basic style of the pagodas comes from Indian stupas (like the ones shown in the photograph on the left of Rajiv Gandhi Memorial at Sriperambadur, TN, India). But the design has been adapted to suit different geographical locations and cultures.

They are truly beautiful structures. Some photographs of pagodas in Arunachal Pradesh.
