2T Stalker Combat Vehicle Reconnaissance

2T Stalker

The 2T Stalker must perform extremely dangerous tasks when penetrate the enemy area. Therefore, the vehicle used advanced stealth technology that helps it significantly reduce radar, infra-red and optical signature and low level of noise compared to other armored vehicles of the same type.

2T Stalker is coated with a special paint that absorbs electromagnetic radiation to reduce the likelihood of the vehicle being detected by radar. The vehicle’s survivability is enhanced by combining with the design of the turret and hull with no sharp edges, allowing the machine to be invisible to enemy radar.

Furthermore the Stalker has a mine-protection comparable to that of the main battle tanks, it survives explosions equivalent to around 10 kg of TNT. Another level of protection is ensured by a self-protection and laser-warning suite. As the vehicle is exposed to laser radiation, the crew is notified about it, and smoke flares are fired in the direction of the radiation source.

It has a maximum range of 1000 km, the maximum speed on flat roads up to 95 km/h..The speed is lower on rough terrain, but even here it exceeds 60 km / h.

A hydropneumatic suspension can be lowered in order to crouch behind terrain while moving at low speed. The 2T Stalker is also fitted with an NBC protection and capable of making 10 m ramp-jumps. The Combat weight of the vehicle is 27.4 tonne.

Designed for deep reconnaissance raids and sabotage operations, the 2T Stalker is equipped with advanced computerized optoelectronic fire control system, which is able at any time to detect, track and attack both ground and aerial targets.

The sound of the vehicle only being heard when it runs at 60 km/h at a distance of 300 to 400m, it is the lowest sound level of a tracked vehicles.

Detection of the machine by the enemy with the help of infrared surveillance tools is hampered with the help of special-shaped tailpipes. They are placed on the sides of the rear of the machine and are long gutters. The exhaust gases are cooled by diluting them with air that has passed through the radiator. Such a system does not allow to bring the temperature of the gases at the exit to the level of the environment, but the effect is nonetheless present. "Invisibility" for the radar is provided with the help of specific hull lines. It is made of flat panels, mated with each other at different angles. By the same principle, a relatively low but wide tower was made.

The machine can transport up to 12 anti-tank mines in the same compartment. For long-term raids in the rear of the enemy, each Stalker has a supply of food and water enough for a week for all five fighters.

The Stalker is armed with a stabilized 30mm 2A42 automatic cannon and coaxial 7.62-mm machine gun PKT.

At the rear of the turret mounted a launcher for two surface-to-air missile Igla-1, two missiles are stored in the machine. The board niches turret under armor covers are two retractable twin launchers of anti-tank guided missiles 9K114 “Cocoon”.

Six rockets are transported in special combat pack in the machine. 9K114 anti-tank guided missiles controlled by radio and can hit well armored targets at ranges of up to 5000 m.

Cumulative warhead missiles pierce armor protection, equivalent to 600 mm normal steel armor. There is also a 30-mm automatic grenade launcher.

Highly maneuverable high speed 2T Stalker tracked vehicle is designed for deep reconnaissance and special operations.

The Belorussian military showed interest in the "Stalker" and even ordered a batch of three dozen .. But Stalker-2T turned out to be too expensive for a country with a weaker economy..

The Belorussian Minister of Industry stressed that the Belorussian side's interest in enhancing cooperation with the Egyptian side comes within the framework of technology transfer and training to achieve a long-term strategic partnership.

This is just incredible. My confusion with this and the Serbian offer is only because there are so many similarities between the two offers and all the items included, but I was originally taking this deal with Belarus a lot more seriously than Serbia simply because of the heritage in Belarus and its close affiliation with the Soviet Union through all the developing years and they've been known to have incredible weapons systems and not just that, but the whole gamete from Radars to vehicles to satellites etc,

My only question to you is based on that post above, did they mention all the systems that you so tirelessly posted? Or are those predictions of what they might offer or are they essentially offering anything Egypt wants as long as they reach an amicable agreement?

This could be great! Even if they merge the Serbian offer with this one for certain items one can provide while the other can't etc.

Thanks for all the tremendous effort, my brother! Really great stuff.

Actually it is based on the presence of 37 Belorussian companies in that exposition in Egypt offering more than 170 products..What we know so far is that 13 agreements were signed on the spot..The main things to keep in mind is the air defense system and the Polonez Multi-rocket launcher..

I remember the Polonez MRLS and if they were going to follow through with that or not or if they signed it or not. If was big news but never knew what -- if any -- materialized.

But they signed 13 agreements on the spot probably means they've agreed to many more by now, right? So you're items that you're listing are all possibilities and eventually we should know what they did get through ToT or not, is my guess. Good stuff.

Egypt produces and then shows..We will know for sure which items they've signed for when we will see them..this can take a few years for sure mostly for the big complex products..Polonez is a successful product and very efficient as it can launch not only different caliber rockets but mostly the 300 km rockets and BMs..and cruise missiles as well..Who can refuse this offer..??

. .
Polonez is based off a Chinese system that Egypt can directly license produce from China.
The Polonez system was designed by the Belarusian Plant of Precision Electromechanics in cooperation with a foreign country, probably China. The first combat missile launches were carried out in China..

An upgraded version called Polonez-M passed all trials and has been accepted into service by the Belarussian Ground Forces as of May 2019. Polonez-M has an increased range of 290 km (186.4 mi), a higher share of domestic components and can fire the improved A-300 missile..

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Polonez_(MRL)

The Polonez-M is what Egypt will make in the JV.. and it can launch the Chinese M-20 short range TBM..

These systems on this thread represent less than a third of the 170 products offered by the 37 Belarussian companies to Egypt for joint manufacturing with ToT..

SPR-3 artillery ammo radio fuze jammer set

٢٠١٨٠٩٢٤_٠١٥٠٢٥.jpg

Experiments have proven that the detonation of shells over targets before hitting them gives a greater destructive effect. Especially anti-personnel missiles,

Therefore, some countries have specifically equipped mortars and artillery with distance sensors,
It is a small radar that calculates the distance between the ground and the projectile until it explodes at the required level..

That is why Belarus has manufactured the SPR-3 system ..To jam the shells' radar until it explodes at a very high distance from the personnel to avoid their devastating effects.

● System Specification

1_ Working range 90_450 MHz.

2_ One station covers an area of 500,000 square meters (1 km x 500 m) against rockets and artillery shells.

3_ One station covers an area of 250,000 square meters against mortar shells.

● System Features

1_Provide automatic protection of the site from all directions.

2_ Does not affect the friendly radars on site.

3_ It is small in size, light in weight and does not consume large amounts of energy.

For artillery munitions, there are four commonly used fuzes (a) impact fuze (b) mechanical time fuze including air-burst type (c) electronic time fuze including air-burst type (d) proximity sensor fuze including the air-burst type..

The Belorussian air defense system is good, especially its AESA radar..This is a real technology transfer. where Egypt will have the technology of medium-range AESA radars, and will manufacture the missile engine and its seeker which makes it more than a wonderful deal..

The basis for catching up with advanced technologies is one thing: Transfer of technology and knowledge..

Because by transferring technology, you are transferring with it a fully developed industrial and scientific structure.. It also transfers scientific knowledge and skills to your manpower.. And a modern and specialized administrative system to your leadership and professional cadres..

All these advantages come in one technological transfer deal, let alone several deals in all fields..

.
We can see these deals of defense cooperation from a wider perspective when Egypt announced the launch of a three-year Egyptian plan to manufacture weapons to achieve self-sufficiency and export Egyptian weapons abroad.

So apart from those wonderful weapon systems offered by Belarus and Serbia..we find many other nations who have offered cooperation with Egypt in manufacturing very modern weapon systems and ammunition..to mention a few..there is South Africa and Spain.. but there are more..like Ukraine, South Korea, France, Italy, Germany, China, Brazil and Russia...etc.. and Even the US with some systems and components the latest of which is the Chassis of the Hummer..

A very good and pragmatic move when the goal is to establish an industry..You get the inexpensive technology founded by less known countries and develop it like the developed countries..this allows to reach the target at the lowest cost..

When we combine everything Egypt is manufacturing in these joint ventures with the CNC plant _ to make very sophisticated CNC machines.. to be ready by 2023 and which will allow very high quality products _ we can only see a brilliant near future for the Egyptian defense industries in the next 5 to 10 years..

Egypt boosts local weapons production

On the 25th February 2020, Minister of State for Military Production Muhammad al-Assar announced a plan to develop the production of weapons and ammunition for companies affiliated with the ministry with a total investment of about 7.5 billion Egyptian pounds ($479 million).

He said in the statement, that the plan includes modernizing and adding 84 production lines. After its implementation, Egypt will not import a single round of ammunition. Egypt wants the Egyptians to manufacture their weapons and the plan needs three years to be properly implemented.

On February 17, Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi inaugurated the Military Factory 300 operating under the Abu Zaabal Company for Specialized Industries, which manufactures many ammunition for small and medium weapons and missiles. Sisi inaugurated a number of other new projects for military production in the military factories of the Benha Company for Electronic Industries (Factory 144), the Qaha Company for Chemical Industries (Factory 270), and the Helwan Company for Machinery and Equipment (999 Military Factory).

On February 17, Sisi also inspected the manufacture of an Egyptian armored vehicle, dubbed the Sinai 200. In his February 25 statement, El Asar said: “It is a highly effective armored vehicle to meet the needs of the Egyptian army. It is fast, flexible and has a strong network to prevent risks while carrying out the mission.” .

Belarus aerospace industry has developed Yastreb UAS Unmanned Aerial System 925 002

The Yastreb adopts a twin-boom airframe that takes off and lands conventionally and can be supplied in three configurations – reconnaissance, combat, and target. It can carry a payload of up to 120 kg.

The air vehicle is powered by a Rotax-912S2/100 combustion engine, producing cruise and maximum speeds of 120 km/h and 220 km/h respectively. It has a stated endurance of six hours, although this can be extended to 10 hours with an external fuel tank.

Its gyro-stabilised sensor suite comprises a daylight camera, thermal imager, and laser rangefinder, although it can also carry up to three 25 kg loitering munitions on its hardpoints. These are equipped with a 10 kg high-explosive fragmentation (HE-FRAG) or high-explosive anti-tank (HEAT) warhead and feature an automatic guidance system.

NPT MBK claims that these munitions can engage targets out to a maximum distance of 50 km with a circular error probable (CEP) under 2 m.
